3. DEFINATION
Infertility means to inability to achive pregnancy after 12 months of having unprotected
sexual intercourse with average frequency of 3 to 4 times per week with no use of any
birth control measures
There are two types of infertility
1. Primary infertility: When a person has never been able to conceive, they are said to
have primary infertility.
2. Secondary infertility: When at least one previous pregnancy has been accomplished,
it is referred to as secondary infertility.
