This English project work is make for Students of
Matthayom 6 to have a basic knowledge about the
symbols of ASEAN. And prepare for going to AEC in
2015 by surf internet and documents then brings all
the information to make a small book for study.
This small book of ASEAN is have the topics for
study is Names of ASEAN, The National Flowers, The
National Animals, The National Foods, Greeting and
ASEAN song ect. Besides students can present or
spread to the students in another grade. It make
everyone knows about ASEAN more.

(Introduction)
Utility of Project
The small book of ASEAN English project work is beginning from
Thailand is one of ten countries in AEC in 2015. So it’s important for
that we have to learn another languages or some information else
about AEC. That’s why we’re made this project. For learning
languages and basic information about ten countries in AEC.
Expected Outcomes
1. For the students study important basic information about
ten countries in AEC.
2. For practice the students to surf internet about more
information of AEC.
3. For the students bring all knowledge to comprise to their
lesson and prepare for going to AEC.
4. For the students can to spread and present to people to be
satisfied and to take benefiting.
Scope of Education Project
1. Students in matthayom6/1, Sompoipittayakom School
2. Period of time for make this project is a month (until 1st
February since 28th February 2014)

The kouprey is the national animal of Cambodia. It is a wild-ox like
creature. It lives in herds of up to 20. The kouprey is one of the
world’s rarest mammals. Prince Sihanouk of Cambodia designated
the kouprey as the country’s national animal in 1960.

known as Lan Xang, or Land of a Million Elephants. But today there

national football team.

The national animal of the Philippines is the carabao, the Asian
Water Buffalo.The carabao (water buffalo) is still a very important
draught-animal on the rice-fields. The carabao is also used for
pulling activities in the forest. If not working, the water buffalo
can be seen while it is resting, many times in a place of water and
mud.

The lion is the symbol of Singapore and where the State derives
its name. The name “Singapore” comes from the Malay
“Singapura”, which means Lion City. The figure of a lion
appears on the left side of the Coat of Arms of Singapore. The
lion symbolises courage, strength and excellence.

The elephant is the national animal of Thailand. Elephants are an
important part of Thai culture and the Thai way of life. They also play
an integral role in the monarchy. The flag of Thailand used to be a
white elephant on a red background. In May 1998, the Cabinet
approved the designation of March 13 as Thai Elephant Day to raise
and sustain public awareness of the importance of elephants.

ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community: ASCC.

Entire to all countries and living together on peace, have a system for
solution about conflict, planning to withstand about war perils
secure in old format and new format. For people have a safe and
stable.
2. ASEAN Economic Community – AEC
Entire to merge in economic and accommodate for trade
communicate is can help to progress and compete with another
countries in the world. And make ASEAN is single market and
production base
3. ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community – ASCC
For people each countries in AEC is living under to contribute
concept in society, get a security and stable in the society.
