• Neyveli Lignite Corporation has informed that condemning the shooting incident in which a Central Industrial Security Force Jawan killed a

• Info Edge (India) Ltd has invested an additional amount of about Rs. 135 million (being Info Edge's share of a total raise of Rs. 150 million)
through optionally convertible cumulative redeemable preference shares in Canvera Digital Technologies Private Limited, which is engaged in the
business of providing solutions to professional photographers. It owns and operates the site www.canvera.com. The aggregate investment,
including the above, is now Rs. 570 million in Canvera Digital Technologies Private Limited which translates to about 32% stake in the Company on
a fully converted and diluted basis.
• Italian Trade Blance fell to a seasonally adjusted 0.37B, from 3.61B in the preceding month whose figure was revised down from 3.62B.
Analysts had expected Italian Trade Blance to fall to 2.47B last month.
• U.S. Federal Reserve said that industrial production rose by a seasonally adjusted 0.6% last month, easily surpassing forecasts for a 0.1% gain.
Industrial production for January was revised to a 0.2% decline from a previously reported drop of 0.3%.

• Destatis said that Germany’s Wholesale Price Index fell to -0.1%, from -0.1% in the preceding month. Analysts had expected Germany’s
Wholesale Price Index to rise 0.2% last month.

• Dhoni sues Zee Network for Rs 100 cr over defamatory news . Dhoni alleges the media house spread defamatory news about him related to the
IPL betting scandal. The HC has restrained Zee TV from telecasting any news involving the India captain in the IPL case.
• NHPC Ltd has informed that Unit-Ill of Parbati H.E. Project Stage-Ill has been synchronized with grid on March 15, 2014 at 00.34 hours and
commissioned at full load (130 MW) successfully on March 15, 2014 at 15.30 hours.
• The ZEW Centre for Economic Research said that its index of German economic sentiment tumbled by 9.1 points to 46.6 this month from
February’s reading of 55.7. Analysts had expected the index to fall by 2.7 points to 53.0 in March.
