• SJVN Mgt Guideline : The company has successfully commissioned the 412 MW Rampur Hydro Electric Project and will begin energy generation
in 2014-15. Mgt foresees generation of around 800 million units of electricity from FY15. The Rampur Hydro Electric Project commenced power
generation on March 20 with the synchronisation of its first 68.67 MW unit with the northern grid. The project is located on river Satluj in
Himachal Pradesh.

• MT Educare Mgt Guideline : The company hopes to rake in around Rs 70-75 core via the sale of pre-university campus (PUC). The company has
already invested about Rs 50 crore out of the total outlay of Rs 60 crore in the campus. The MT Educare board has okayed the proposed sale of
pre-university college campus in Mangalore, Karnataka subject to approval of members of the company through postal ballot.
• German manufacturing purchasing managers’ index fell to a seasonally adjusted 53.8 in March from a final reading of 54.8 in February. Analysts
had expected the index to inch down to 54.6 this month.
• Geometric Clarifies on News Item : News regarding "PE players eye Godrej Group's stake in Geometric", Geometric Ltd has Clarified to The
Company has not entered into any discussion with any PE firm or any other entity to change or modify its equity structure. We re-iterate it is not
our policy to comment on market rumors or speculation.
• Arvind Ltd has picked up the 49 per cent stake held by the Murjani Group in Calvin Klein in India. With this Arvind and PVH Corp are expected to
drive Calvin Klein's business in the country. Arvind Lifestyle Brands Ltd and Arvind Retail Ltd, Calvin Klein in India is valued at 180 crore.
• Eurozone preliminary manufacturing purchasing managers’ index inched down to a seasonally adjusted 53.0 this month, in line with
expectations and down from a final reading of 53.2 in February.
• Reliance Power Ltd has informed that the Third 660MW unit of the 3,960 MW (6X660 MW) Sasan Ultra Mega Power Plant (UMPP) being
developed by Sasan Power Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, has commenced power generation.
• BHEL bags Rs. 3,000 Crore mega contract for 2x800 MW Supercritical Boilers against stiff International Competition . The contract has been
placed on BHEL by NTPC Ltd. for setting up the 2x800 MW Steam Generator (SG) package at Darlipali in Odisha.
• Monnet Ispat Energy Clarification : With reference to movement in price, Monnet Ispat & Energy Ltd has Clarified that there is no material
development in the Company and the movement in price is attributable to the market function.
• The Supreme Court refused to cancel the bail granted to Unitech Ltd Managing Director Sanjay Chandra, an accused in 2G spectrum case.A
bench headed by Justice H L Dattu turned down the plea of CBI which had approached the apex court for cancellation of bail after Chandra was
allegedly caught on tape trying to influence the then public prosecutor in the case.
