• Brigade Enterprises has purchased a prime property measuring 2.25 Acres at Hebbal, Bangalore from M/s. Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages
Pvt. Ltd. for a consideration of Rs. 68.83 Crores, for developing a prime real estate project.
• The board of the Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd (MCX) asked promoter Financial Technologies India Ltd ( FTIL ) to reduce its stake
to 2 percent . Last week, the Forward Markets Commission (FMC) had issued an order declaring FTIL and its chief Jignesh Shah unfit to run any
exchange, including the Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd (MCX), following a Rs 5,500 crore payment crisis at group company National
Spot Exchange Ltd (NSEL)
• Elder Pharmaceutical would focus on brand building and enter new therapeutics areas to drive growth. Elder Pharma's anti-infectives division
has been contributing more than 10 percent to the total revenue and has been registering annual growth of more than 12 percent.
• Grasim Industries has informed that the operations of the Chemical Plant at Vilayat in Gujarat have resumed now. The Company have also
commenced operations of the downstream Epoxy Plant at Vilayat. The full capacity at both the Plants will be achieved in a phased manner.
• A2Z Maintenance Clarification : With reference to increase in price, A2Z Maintenance & Engineering Services has clarified that it does not
have price sensitive information which it is required to disclose to the exchange as per Clause 36 of the listing agreement.
• Canara Bank has decided to raise additional capital of Rs. 1500 Crore through issue of BASEL-III complaint Tier-II Bonds (Series-I) .
• Indraprastha Gas CNG Price To Be Increased By Rs 4.50/kg To Rs 50.10/kg In Delhi CNG Price To Be Increased By Rs 5.15/kg In Noida,

• French PPI rose to a seasonally adjusted 0.5%, from -0.2% in the preceding month. Analysts had expected French PPI to remain unchanged at 0.2% last month.
• Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare said that Japan’s Average Cash Earnings rose to a seasonally adjusted 0.5%, from -0.1% in
the preceding quarter whose figure was revised down from 0.1% . Analysts had expected Japan’s Average Cash Earnings to rise to 0.4% in the
last quarter.
• The Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry said that retail sales rose to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 4.0%, from 2.3% in the
preceding month. Analysts had expected retail sales to rise at annual rate of to 2.9% last month.

3. Management Tweets
• CEAT Mgt Guideline : The government recently hiked the customs duty on imported natural rubber from Rs 20/kg or 20 percent
(whichever being lower) to Rs 30/kg or 30 percent (lower of the two). Margin on Q3FY13 would roughly be in the region of about 11 to 13
percent if not 13 percent . Company will be able to maintain 15% growth.
• JSW Steel Mgt Guideline : Company has decided to hike prices by up to 2 percent across the board from January. According to World Steel
Association's estimates, the steel demand is expected to go up by 48 million tonne in 2014 . JSW Steel has USD 1.6 billion open forex
payables.It intends to keep hedging costs to zero and plans to balance forex exposure. The company has a net debt of Rs 30, 435 crore.JSW
Steel expects the exports In FY15 to be at 4 million tonne versus 3 million tonne (YoY). The company expects sales volumes in FY15 to
improve by 1 million tonne to 12.6 million tonne (YoY) and to continue to spend Rs 1,000 crore per quarter.
