Oracle enterprise manager 12c migrate to pluggable database
1. Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c
Converting oracle database 11g to pluggable 12c database.
Consedarations:
1. 11g Database version should be min on 11.2.0.3
2. Both 12c Container database and 11g database that is being converted should be with same
character set
3. Both 11g and 12c Container databases are configured in EM12c.
4. 11g database should have archive log enabled.
Login to EM12c Release 3 console and Navigate to ‘Targets’ ‘Databases’
Select 12c Container database
2. Navigate to ‘Oracle Databases’ ‘Provisioning’ ‘Provisioning Pliggable Databases’
Select ‘Migrate Existing Database’ and click on ‘Launch’
3. Select ‘User oracle data pump Full transportable Export and import’ option. Provide DB12c host user
details.
Plug as PDB is only available from 12c databases
Click ‘Add’ button and select the 11g Database you wish to convert.
5. Provide a name for the conversion job and select a schedule / immediate run.
6. Review the details and click ‘Submit’.
Click on ‘View job’ to see the job steps
Below screen shows the jobs running.
7. Select the check box against the job step to see the details
Faced issues, in pre-requisites phase while checking for diskspace (though we have space) ignored.

9. Once the process competed, you can see the migrated database as pluggable database
