Nathan:Our cut sequence featuresfourcharacters,twodetectives, awaiteranda police constable.
The detectives are the twomaincharacter staytogetherthroughoutthe majorityof the game to
avoidpeople growingclosetoa certaincharacter throughout.
Adam:The charactersare both stereotypicallycuriousandcautiousof almosteverything. Theyboth
have bothhave posh accentsand will bothuse formal language aswell assome Britishslangphrases
like ladsandchaps.
Nathan:Our cut sequence isaslightmixture of the comedyandseriousaspectasitbegins ina café.
The two characters both meetand have a small conversation aboutwhathashappened.Atthis
pointCharlesorderssome foodanda drinkwhichchangesthe subjectentirely.

will take place roughlynearthe beginningof the game.Thisisto give a comedicintrotothe two
characters andgive a sense of the character’s personalities.

Adam:In Rodney’scase,we see himbeingantsyaboutwantingtogothe crime scene;thisshows

effectsforthe café such as people talking;clinkingof cupsandcutlery.We will alsoproduce musicto
be playedinthe backgroundof the café to helpcreate the atmosphere.
Nathan:We will alsoaddthe faintsoundof trafficas the crime scene isin a back alley.Forobvious
reasonswe won’taddany musicfor thispart of the game as theyare outside.
