My Future Career Goals
These career choices I have laid out as my future career goals will help to not only educate myself,
but also others in society by showing them all the benefits to sustainability. Through my intended
work as an ambassador for sustainability I will be accessing current situations and helping to
develop plans to help make changes for the good, this will be seen across all scales with students,
buildings or businesses, neighbourhoods or communities, and hopefully on the bigger scale of
globally.

goal is to develop more of an unbiased view on all topics possible; well I understand that no one

Other times I would cruise around the hallways pulling a patient in a wagon and visiting patients in
their rooms. Nearly every week there would be a new group of patients under 16 years of age, just
as innocent and adorable as the last group getting treated for whatever illness that invaded their
body, and every week I would look forward to poking my head into their rooms and inviting them
to join me in the playroom. Very rarely did I see patients stay for more than twoweeks except several
in–patients who routinely came back for treatment.
For several weeks the same room with the same patient was in isolation and finally before the
holidays began the isolation restrictions on the patient was cleared. When I arrived at the playroom
that day the seven– year–old girl was already painting flowers with watercolors in the playroom.
When I greeted everyone in the playroom she was the first to stop what she was doing to greet
me back with the biggest smile and the roundest eyes. She offered me a seat next to her and asked
if I wanted to paint flowers with her as get well cards for other patients. Eventually I discovered
that she was losing her life to the cancer that was rapidly spreading throughout her body. The week
before Christmas my internship was about to end but I decided to stay as a community volunteer for
another week when she was scheduled to be discharged to go home to spend the

By just going through the motions of coming to work everyday, only getting done what has to be
done, and going home at the end of the day, one might realize that an everyday routine can quickly
turn into a mundane professional life. At the same time, if a person does all of these things, but
shows a bit of initiative to gain more knowledge of the job, they may see an opportunity to

I would enjoy counseling class so much, that it was easy for me. I always got good grades, and to

My Academic and Career Goals
My academic goal is to graduate Argosy University with a bachelors degree in Forensic Psychology
in three years time. Forensic Psychology is the study of the criminal mind, in a nutshell. The main
motivation to achieve this goal would be intrinsic. I love asking questions and knowing the answers
as to why people do what they do, and in a criminals case, what led them to committing the crime.

According to Dubrin (2015), developing a career naturally requires some constitute of goal
setting. Currently, I am in a Federal government position, working as a medical assistant. I have
worked for the government for 16 years and don't want to lose the time that I have put in, but in

Academic Goals And Career Goals
My academic goals are to learn skills that I will need in the workforce to achieve my career goals.
Being a successful student academically has always been important to me, from high school
through all four years of college. I hope to have a substantial foundation of knowledge and
experiences from the classroom that will transition over into my future career. Before my
professional career begins, I will work hard to attain my CPA by retaining my classroom education.
Furthermore, the enhanced knowledge I will gain from a Master of Accounting from Iowa State will
better my chances at achieving my goal of passing the CPA exam.

Nine years ago when I first joined faculty of engineering at Alexandria University, I would have
never imagined that I would apply for a Management PhD program one day. My dream was to
become an electrical engineer but another thing was perfectly destined and planned for me. It has
all started during my last year in the college. I was majoring electrical engineering and I took a
project management course. This course has changed all my goals and objectives. I have become

I will be receiving a bachelor's in Business Administration with a minor in International Management
. I am in the process of applying for a master's in Management and Organizational Behavior at
Benedictine University. Upon graduating from CSUMB, I will be currently working for the
Dollar Tree Store, Inc. as a cashier. I hope that after the training workshop for assistant manager, I
will be accepted and train in the new Marina store at the end of the year. In the book What Color
