I teach and conduct research in the areas of English Language Arts/Literacy and Reading Methods for the Content Areas. In layman's terms, I teach graduate and undergraduate students who wish to become secondary English teachers (6-12th grades) and I teach preservice teachers in other content areas (Social Studies, Math, Science, Art, etc.) how to help 6-12th grade students become better readers and writers.
