1. Nicole Dell: I live and work in Monument, CO. I
have worked at Lewis Palmer Elementary
School for almost four years now as a
paraprofessional and I’m currently on leave
without pay while completing my intern position
at Palmer Ridge High School. This semester is
my last one.

2. I have two children, one boy and one girl. Jasmine
just turned 19, and is attending Metro State in
Denver. Watching her graduate high school and
transition to college has been a wonderful
experience. My son Joseph is very active! He
plays basketball, football, and baseball for Lewis
Palmer High School. He is currently in 11th grade.

3. I am interested in learning more about
Positive Behavior Interventions and
Supports (PBIS).
• I think:
– All children can learn
– If a child is exhibiting an unwanted behavior -
there is a reason
– It is my role to meet the varied needs of
children and to provide them with a learning
environment that supports their individual
growth
