Spend some time practicing the words you spelled incorrectly on Monday’s pre-test. On Friday, we will have a dictation test that
includes all of the words. Below are some fun ways for you to practice your spelling words for the week.

Write the words
on white

crayon and
watercolor paint
over the page.
Designer Words
Write your
words using
bubble letters
and then color
each word
differently.
Alphabits

Use the cereal to
spell your words
and then eat
them! Yum!
SOAPY SUDSY
Write each word in
the condensation of
the shower wall.
Create clues that help someone figure
out a mystery spelling word.
(Provide the answers on the back of your paper.)
For example:
It’s a noun. It’s a country. It’s found in
Africa. It starts with a Z.
Scramble your words and
write the correct spelling next
to each scrambled word.
Use a tape recorder, iPad, etc. to
record your spelling words and
spellings. Listen to your recording!
First, dot out a letter of the word. Next,
trace the letter. Keep doing it until you
are finished with the whole word.
Repeat with all spelling words on your
list.
