- In Swahili self-determination or kujichagulia means to define the world in your own image and interest, placing your community and your history and culture at the center of the world and social reality.
- I went to an art high school in Kentucky that is similar to BAA and my art teacher encouraged me to learn computer graphics during my junior year. It was this work that earned me a full scholarship to Pratt Institute in New York City. Eventually, I earned my doctorate in Digital Media.
