4. First Time Login through Console
• First time login through console using defualt username and password of admin/admin.
• Although lot of prominent features donot work lik sysconfig and cpconfig till them time you one time
configure it using Web UI .As given in the snapshot below .

5. Accessing Web UI for First Time
• Connect to Management port of your Checkpoint appliance .Default IP add of your
Checkpoint Appliance management port is 192.168.1.1 and default access is https on
port 443 .If you are using old OS of Secure Platform then use port default port of 4434
for https .This document is pertaining to GAIA on smart appliance and OS is R75.40 .
• Configure your PC or Laptop to same subnet in order to access management interface .
