3. James H. Webb Jr.
Mr. Webb is the founding partner of
the firm. He insists that the lawyers
and the other employees of the firm
maintain a high level of professional
and personal excellence. One of the
few lawyers in the State of Georgia
recognized as a Board Certified Civil
Trial Advocate by the National Board
of Trial Advocacy, he has given many
lectures and seminars to other
lawyers in the areas of medical
malpractice and trial advocacy. Mr.
Webb is a former chairman of the
General Practice and Trial Section of
the Georgia State Bar, which has
approximately 3,000 lawyer members

4. Jonathan J. Wade
Mr. Wade is a native of Atlanta and practices as a trial lawyer. His practice
focuses on personal injury cases including truck wreck
litigation, automobile accidents, premises liability, wrongful death actions
and slip and fall cases. He also handles business litigation cases such as
contract disputes, breach of contract actions and other commercial
disputes. He has extensive trial experience. He has taught law school
courses in torts, civil procedure, trial practice, criminal law, criminal
procedure and appellate procedure. He is admitted to all of Georgia’s
courts and the United States Supreme Court.

5. Brandon R. Taylor
Brandon’s practice focuses primarily on medical
negligence, wrongful death and personal injury
litigation. A mainstay of Brandon’s
education, experience and career has been a
concentration on Litigation. While in law
school, Brandon clerked with the United States
Attorney’s Office, helping to bring civil lawsuits
against individuals and businesses defrauding the
government. Since law school, Brandon has
handled hundreds of personal injury cases and
works closely with Jim Webb in the areas of
medical and professional negligence and personal
injury.
Prior to law school, Brandon represented over 150
Georgia cities and counties negotiating
telecommunications and cable franchise
agreements and advising municipalities and
counties on rights-of-way management and policy.

6. Karen C. Gainey
Karen C. Gainey began practicing law in Decatur, Georgia after graduating from
the University of Georgia law school in 1988. Although her practice has been
quite varied, her main practice areas have been estate planning, probate and
general estate matters including guardianship and real estate . During her 11 years
in Decatur, Ms. Gainey represented several of the County Guardians and County
Administrators in Dekalb County. In that capacity, she was responsible for
handling all legal matters for the estates. Ms. Gainey also represented the Dekalb
County Board of Education in their defense of workers’ compensation claims. She
began practicing at Webb, Lindsey & Wade in 2000 and she has continued to
specialize in Estate matters. She is admitted to practice in all Georgia’s courts
including the Georgia Court of Appeals and Georgia Supreme Court.

7. Dinah L. Rainey
Dinah served on active duty in the United States Army for more than 20 years.
While in the military, she practiced law in several areas, including family
law, estate planning, employment and labor law, landlord/tenant law, consumer
law, military law, and criminal law. She also served as a senior military
prosecutor and as a Special Assistant United States Attorney with the
Department of Justice. She has prosecuted felony criminal cases in military
and civilian criminal courts. Since retiring from the military in 2006, Dinah
has exclusively practiced in the area of family and domestic relations law.

8. Richard P. Lindsey
Richard P. Lindsey graduated with honors from the University of Georgia
School of Law in 1985 and was on the editorial board of the Georgia Law
Review. He is a former law clerk for the Hon. William M. Acker, Jr., United
States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. He is licensed to
practice in all courts in Georgia, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and
the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Lindsey practices primarily in the
areas of Adoptions, Business Litigation and Transactions, Government &
Municipal, and Wills, Estate Planning & Probate.

9. Janet Permar
After completing nursing
school, Ms. Permar worked at
Piedmont Hospital until her
husband graduated from
Georgia Tech. She has worked
in a variety of practice areas.
After moving back to the
Atlanta area in 1978, she was
on the staff of a 200 bed long
term care facility, eventually
becoming the Director of
Nursing. She joined the firm of
Webb, Wade & Taylor, LLC in
1992, after working for
another attorney in the Atlanta
area. She has been with the
firm for over 16 years.

10. Jordan Jewkes
Upon graduating from law
school, Jordan moved to
southeastern Florida where he
practiced civil litigation with a
focus on real
estate, contracts, consumer
protection, and small business
litigation. In 2009, he moved
back to the Atlanta area where
he routinely defended several
of the nations’ largest insurance
companies in cases ranging
from workers’ compensation to
personal injury. Jordan was
privileged to join Webb, Wade
& Taylor in 2011, bringing with
him the invaluable perspective
of a former defense attorney.
