1) ARTI is working on developing sustainable technologies and solutions to improve rural livelihoods in India. This includes improved cookstoves that reduce smoke inhalation and biogas systems that convert organic waste into fuel. 2) ARTI has developed compact biogas systems suitable for household or small community use that efficiently convert food and animal waste into biogas while producing fertilizer. 3) ARTI is also working on models for sustainable agriculture through techniques such as raised bed farming, root mat cultivation, and growing high-value root medicinal plants.
