I completed my pre-medical studies at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and received a Bachelors of Arts in chemistry, Summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa honor society. I received my medical degree from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom with commendation. My specialty training in Rheumatology was carried out at Stanford University, Stanford, California, following which I joined the Division of Rheumatology at Mayo clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. I was faculty at Mayo Clinic for more than 11 years before transitioning to Arthritis Health, Scottsdale.
