2. When the tower was built
The Terminal tower was built in June 29,1930
by Oris P. and Mantis J. Van Sweringen. Also
known as the Van Sweringen brothers.
3. Height of the tower
The Terminal tower covers 584,000 square
feet and it has 52 floors. The tower is 235
meters or 771 feet tall. The terminal tower
was the tallest building in Cleveland, but now
it is the second tallest. It got beat by the Key
tower.
4. How the tower gets it’s name
The Terminal tower got it’s name from the
train terminal that runs under the tower. It is
the only building that has a terminal in
downtown Cleveland. The terminal goes all
the way to the Cleveland airport.
5. About the Falcon who Lives on the
tower.
There is a real live falcon who lives on the
Terminal tower and his name is Boomer. A
while ago his wife's eggs hatched.Some people
say they want to get rid of Boomer’s family.
There is a falcon cam so you can see what
Boomer is up to.
6. What's inside the tower
Part of Terminal tower is Tower City which is
a mall. On the 42nd floor of the tower there
is a observation deck that you can take tours
in. Inside is lots of rooms and offices.There is
a suite called the Greenbrier Suite where
famous people come to visit and talk to each
other and have meetings. The suite is never
open to the public.
7. Where the tower is located
The Terminal tower is located in downtown
Cleveland. In Cleveland it is located in the
town square near the Q and the Winking
Lizard.
