Methods Data source The Canadian Health Measures Survey (CHMS) is a nationally representative survey of the household population. Data for cycle 1 were collected from March 2007 through February 2009 at 15 sites across the country for respondents aged 6 to 79. Full-time members of the Canadian Forces and residents of Crown lands, Indian reserves, institutions and certain remote regions were excluded.
