Our engineering team has a wide range of expertise that allows us to service the
Mechanical, Electrical, and Biomedical specialties. We use a Phase Gate design
methodology which is a rigorous approach employing five phases, from concept
development to production, to deliver top quality development programs to our
customers. The development programs can include: mechanical, electrical,
optical, and quality engineering disciplines. The combination of these skills will
be used to determine every aspect of the product’s appearance, function, and
certification compliance.
Mechanical: Our mechanical engineers use SolidWorks 3D design software in the
design process, from concept through production. We begin with conceptual
sketches and progress toward more elaborate models. We create and test
prototypes and manufacture initial units for design verification testing. Our
mechanical engineers have experience with complex mechanisms, machine design,
medical disposables, machine vision, and other cutting edge technologies.
Electrical: Our electronic engineers create electronic systems for circuit design,
spectroscopy systems, temperature sensors, motor controls, robotics, analog
and digital communications, power supply, and other data acquisition,
processing, and controls. Our engineers also have significant controls
experience using: PLCs, microprocessors, and other digital acquisition
systems. They integrate all of the electronic components with custom
software using LabView, C+, and other programming languages.
Biomedical: Our biomedical engineers are an integral part of our development
team. They use their experience and background to identify the physiological
needs of a device from the first Concept Development stage through
Validation. They have expertise in advanced materials and other sciences
which is invaluable for determining the most appropriate materials and
techniques for medical based development programs.
