3. Sorry…..? Uumma who….? Uummannaq is a place in West Greenland, located on an island. A small place with large problems

5. The Children's Home has a capacity of 23 Greenlandic children and young people from the age of 0 to 23 years old. These kids all come from families with severe social problems.

6. They only have a little contact with their relatives, some are even orphans and others are mentally and/or physically handicapped.

7. In Uummannaq they are allready quite influenced by the problems related to globalisation.

8. Why this Project? The NRGsociety selected this project because the children learn traditional skills and culture to survive in this desolated part of the world.
