Ermine.
 These paintings are similar because they portray two young, sophisticated, mysterious
women
 They are both realistic and detailed.
 In both pictures, the background is black, making curved shapes, and bright, luxurious
clothes more visible.
 In both paintings, the ladies wear jewels.
 The pictures are different because Leonardo’s Lady is holding an animal (an Ermine)
 In Vermeer’s painting, she is looking at the painter while we do not know what Leonardo’s
Lady is looking at
