- 3. Intramural Staff Professional Staff Sport Officials Sport Supervisors Scorers/Timers Sport Officials The Intramural Program employs an average of 50 student officials each semester.

Intramural Staff Professional Staff Sport Officials Sport Supervisors Scorers/Timers Sport Officials Training All intramural officials undergo an extensive training program that includes multiple classroom sessions and interactive on-court workshops. New officials are provided with NFHS Rule Books and the most up to date training materials. No official is ever placed on a game without more than adequate training.

Intramural Staff Professional Staff Sport Officials Sport Supervisors Scorers/Timers Officials Development Program The Officials Development Program is an online training tool that provides web- based interactive rules demonstrations. This state-of-the-art program was wholly developed by our department. The ODP is recognized by the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association as an outstanding tool for referee training

Intramural Staff Professional Staff Sport Officials Sport Supervisors Scorers/Timers Sport Officials Training The training programs developed by Northeastern University’s Intramural Sports Department are in use by over 100 other intramural departmets across the country to train their student officials. In addition, we provide the oppurtunity for our officials to become certified in their respective sports by attending off-campus training seminars.

- 8. Intramural Staff Professional Staff Sport Officials Sport Supervisors Scorers/Timers Supervisor Training To become a supervisor, a student official must demonstrate advanced knowledge of the rules and have the ability to resolve conflicts as needed.
