If you are willing to undergo a laser
surgery for treating your cataract, then
it is good for you to first have a better
understanding about the entire healing
procedure prior in advance. An eye
expert will test and measure your eye to
find out the intraocular lens of what
power need to be put into your eyes.
After that, you may further need to go
for some other tests to ensure that the
size of the intraocular lens is accurate.
These tests will also help in making
sure that you do not have any other
vision problems, which may create
hindrance in the smooth performance
of your cataract eye surgery.
Need to know about Eye Surgery:
Eye Surgery:  Cataract surgery almost takes
fifteen minutes in total and can
only be performed on one eye
at a time. You may need to
spend two hours at the eye
                 care center for completion of
                 the entire procedure
                 undertaken by an expert eye
                 specialist. Further, in order to
                 have a follow-up with your
                 surgeon, you will require
                 visiting the eye care center
                 after a few days.
At the time of the treatment, the skin nearby
your eye will be cleaned and covered with
germfree bandages. A small cut will be made
by the surgeon in your eye with an
ultrasound-driven device to break the
suction and cataract away from the remains.
During the surgery, doctors may use some
special instruments to crack it into small
pieces.
Taking Care after Eye Surgery:
After taking out your cloudy but
natural lens, a silicone or plastic
intraocular lens will be fixed in your
           eye. Immediately after completion of
this task, your eye will be enclosed
with a safe shield and also an eye
drop will be recommended by the
           doctor.
You will need to cover your
eye will protective shield
while sleeping, eye drops need
to be used many times in a day
for at least a few weeks.
Further, you need to protect
your eye from direct sunlight
and bright lamps.
You may need to avoid eating and
drinking before cataract eye surgery,
come to the center for the treatment
without applying any kind of makeup,
take some topical painkiller, prevent
using drugs like Flomax that cause
similar medical impact and may
interfere with the surgery result, go for a
final eye test, arrange a drive that can
take your home and buy corrective
glasses before going ahead with laser
cataract surgery.
