garageband)
Intuitive (Basics can be learnt how to use by most
students in one - two periods) Also leads onto even more
powerful software Logic
Accessible (Over last 5 years more macs in homes, and
now on ipad, mac prices continuing to drop)
Online tuition - hundreds of tutorial videos
7. Obstacles to use
• Computer numbers(or lack there of)
• New software for us as teachers to
master
• Fitting sequencer compositions into the
Achievement Standards square box.
(Notation)
Often requires more work for students. If composing on
Notation Software (Sibelius) notation is taken care of during
creation
