It’s time again folks to explode your creativity, connect with open source
innovators and absorb varied learning activities! This year, the 8th
edition of Open Source India (OSI) conference is segmented with three
separate domain-specific events PHP Days, DATA Days and OSI Days to
include more topics encompassing open source tools and technology and beyond. The events
PHP days and DATA days have been introduced for the first time in the conference.
Scheduled to be held on 20-22 November 2011 at NIMHANS Convention Center, Bengaluru,
India, the conference is expected to attract 3000+ of open source innovators, technologists,
and professionals who will come together to share their expertise, explore new ideas and
inspire each other.
OSSCube once again partnered up as Organizing Partner with Forum for Open Source Initiatives
in India (FOSII) and the Electronics For You (EFY) Group to organize the largest Open Source
Conference in Asia region, called ‘OSI Days’. OSSCube is responsible for all the technical aspects
of conference right from developing and managing official website, creating tracks, sessions
and workshops for PHP days, DATA days and OSI Days.
We have built a Conference Management System on
Drupal Platform for managing OSI Days. This includes
Session Management, Track Management, Speaker
Management, Social Connect System, Registration
Management etc. This system will be contributed
back as Open Source Conference Management
system in December 2011.
Carrying legacy of being the major concourse for
open source community and the industry, the
Conference will focus on open source software
topics addressing the latest tools and technology
emerging in open source. The conference will be the
combination of strategic keynote presentations, case
studies and workshops.
