• Business intelligence (BI) is a technology-driven
process for analyzing data and presenting
actionable information to help corporate
executives, business managers and other end
users make more informed business decisions
• 20 years since BI became mainstream
• Less than 30% of potential users use BI tools
actually use it

3. Successfully implemented, but…
• Low adoption after 6 months
• Competing with Excels
• Data quality deteriorate render some tools
unusable
• Report proliferation
