FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PACO COMMUNICATIONS AND LATINO FASHION WEEK JOIN FORCES
CHICAGO (October 7, 2010) – PACO Communications (PACO), a Chicago-based multicultural communications
agency, has been named Agency of Record for Latino Fashion Week (LFW). PACO will handle all public
relations, advertising, social media and promotional efforts for this year’s events taking place November 8-15.
“We’re very excited to begin our work with Latino Fashion Week,” said Ozzie Godinez, CEO and co-founder of
PACO Communications. “LFW is already well-established throughout the fashion industry and the Latino
community at large. It will be our pleasure to help elevate the brand even further and position them as the
premier resource institution for those in the fashion industry and beyond.”
Latino Fashion Week is the only week-long event in the United States that is completely dedicated to Latino
fashion. Latino designers from around the globe will be showcasing their creations during the seven-day
celebration.
“PACO Communications really understands what we’re trying to do on every level,” said Cesar Rolon Jr., co-
executive producer of Latino Fashion Week. “Their enthusiasm and understanding of how an event of this
magnitude impacts our Latino community as a whole is exactly what we were looking for in a partnership.”
Scheduled events include fashion shows by some of the industry’s rising and established designers on a local,
national and international level. There will also be educational seminars, trunk shows, VIP parties and
celebrity appearances.
“We’re extremely proud of how far we’ve come in such a short period of time,” said Arabel Alva Rosales, J.D.,
co-executive producer of LFW. “Since our first event a few years ago, we’ve gained tremendous recognition
that has helped to catapult Latino designers to receive numerous awards and secure contracts with major
retailers.”
