INTRODUCTION OF ICLICKERS
WHY USE ICLICKERS IN CLASS?

 the 'clicker,' an electronic voting device that
  resembles a basic remote control and is
  widely being embraced by universities as a
  way to encourage interaction in classes.
 Lectures become more entertaining and
  students are motivated to pay attention in
  class.
I-CLICKERS ARE FLEXIBLE

   They can be used to monitor attendance,
    conduct paperless pop quizzes, review for an
    exam or poll students' opinions regarding a
    class debate. Professors can give bonus
    points for correct answers or make
    answering compulsory and part of a student's
    participation grade.
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS TO USING ICLICKERS

 An incentive for consistent engagement
 Improvement in students’ grades

 According to student evaluation of classes
  students state that the use of i-clickers got
  them to participate and attend classes
 Instant feedback for students and instructors
ARE THERE DRAWBACKS WHEN USING

From passive to active learning iclickers

  • 4. WHY USE ICLICKERS IN CLASS?  the 'clicker,' an electronic voting device that resembles a basic remote control and is widely being embraced by universities as a way to encourage interaction in classes.  Lectures become more entertaining and students are motivated to pay attention in class.
  • 5. I-CLICKERS ARE FLEXIBLE  They can be used to monitor attendance, conduct paperless pop quizzes, review for an exam or poll students' opinions regarding a class debate. Professors can give bonus points for correct answers or make answering compulsory and part of a student's participation grade.
  • 6. ADDITIONAL BENEFITS TO USING ICLICKERS  An incentive for consistent engagement  Improvement in students’ grades  According to student evaluation of classes students state that the use of i-clickers got them to participate and attend classes  Instant feedback for students and instructors
