This document provides instructions for citing sources from the Salem Press reference database in NoodleTools. In fact, when you pull up an article, you will see the cover
of the book it was originally published in.

3. Therefore, all of your citations in NoodleTools from
Salem Press will be online sources previously published
in a reference book.
In NoodleTools, you can either begin with “reference
source” OR “online database.” Your results will be the
same.

4. However, we are going to choose “reference source,”
because it’s helpful to keep in mind how your source was
originally published. The information in Salem Press was
originally published in reference book format, and it is
now available online.

5. So, we’re going to follow the publication chain and
choose “Reference Source .” NoodleTools will allow us
to note that we found our information online in a few
steps.
