VALENTINE PACKAGES FOR PARKSIDE’S MEN & WOMEN SERVING
IN THE MILITARY
The women from Ladies Dinner & Game Night invite you to help with a project of
sending valentine gifts to those from Parkside currently serving in the military.
The packages will go to the young men and women pictured on our military board
in the fellowship area. If you know of other young folks related to our Parkside
family currently serving in the military, please call Linn Aalderink at 616-741-9819
or the church office at 399-4410.
If you would like to donate items, some suggestions would be: personally-made
valentine cards, letters of support, stationery, stamps, phone cards, beef jerkey,
nuts, hard candy, coffee, tea, water flavoring packets, small games, puzzle books,
white athletic socks, etc. A detailed list of items to send and not to send is
located on the table in the Fellowship Area in front of our military board.
Please place any donated items on the table by the Military Board. The
last day to donate is Sunday, January 24. Extra items collected will be delivered
to the VA Hospital in Grand Rapids. Also if you would be willing to help with
postage costs, please give your donation to Linn or Judy.

LADIES MISSION WORKSHOP! PLATE Ministries is sponsoring a
mission project this Saturday, January 9, which involves making little dolls
for Africa. The workshop will be held from 9 am to 3 pm. Feel free to
come and go, stay an hour or two or all day. You don’t need to know how
to sew to help - you can cut and stuff! Everyone: Please bring a pair of
scissors suitable for cutting fabric. If you can sew, bring your sewing
machine and thread. Materials will be provided. Please sign up at the
Women’s Ministry Counter. A light lunch will be provided. For more
information, call Kathy Trantham at 396-1975.
PRAYER MEETING EVERY TUESDAY MORNING Every week on
Tuesday morning from 11:30-noon, the staff invites you to join them
in a time of prayer at the church. All are welcome!
SUNDAY EVENING SERVICE-THE BOOK OF REVELATION This class
will start up again tonight at 6:00 p.m. Plan to attend and bring your Bible
and a friend as we walk through some of the most descriptive passages of
God’s plan for humanity and His people Israel.
FAMILY BIBLE HOUR Plan to be part of Family Bible Hour every
Sunday morning at 9:30 am. Six adult classes are being offered. See
