THE GOSPEL…
Genesis 1:1 - God made everything.
Genesis 1:31 - God made everything
perfectly - No death or suffering.
Genesis 3:17-19 - The punishment
for sin is death. Due to sin, the world
is no long perfect.
Romans 5:12 - Because our mutual
grandfather, Adam, sinned, we now
sin too.
Romans 3:23 - We need to realize
that all are sinners, including
ourselves.
Romans 10:9 - We must trust in
Jesus Christ as the One who died in
our place, paying the punishment for
our sin on the cross; resurrected in
victory over death.
Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace are
you saved through faith and not of
yourselves. It is a gift from God, not
of works, lest any man should boast.

OUR GOAL FOR 2019-2020 SUPPORT - $45,000
Visiting Missionaries
Steve & Barb Sherman - GMI - Tanzania
The Lord led Steve and Barb to be involved in leadership training in
Africa in 1994. For ten years they worked with Tanzania Grace Bible
Institute’s pastoral college in administration and teaching. In 2004
they began developing a Swahili curriculum to be used in lay-leader
Bible Schools under TGBI. The year 2006 saw the launching of seven
Bible Schools in various regions of Tanzania with two more Bible
Schools being added in 2010. Steve continued to work closely with
TGBI as an auditor and adviser to the college and Bible schools
although they are all being administered by Tanzanian leadership at
this time. Since 2011 Steve had been working with a group of
missionaries to develop curriculum for lay-leader Bible Schools in all of the English-speaking
countries of Africa where GMI works. The year 2013 saw the opening of the first of these schools
in the country of Malawi. In the spring of 2015 a plan was made with the Grace Church of Zambia
to start Bible schools in that country. This curriculum development is an ongoing project.
Lawrence & Barbara Trumbower
GMI - Puerto Rico
Lawrence and Barbara have served under Grace Ministries Int. at
Radio Station WCGB for 34 years. Lawrence studied broadcast
communications at Milwaukee Institute of Technology, then God
led him to the design and establishment of WCGB in 1967.
WCGB is evangelistic and seeker-friendly in its approach
broadcasting sports, news, music, and many live programs, with short gospel messages inserted
in the non-religious blocks. His newest exciting project is the transformation of a series of the
written doctrinal Bible charts of Maurice Hammond into PowerPoint presentations in Spanish as
well as English. Barbara works alongside Lawrence preparing the PowerPoints, does some
mentoring, initiates most of their personal and mission correspondence and reports, manages
the missionaries’ ministry fund records, and actively encourages people within her spheres of
influence.
GMI Missionary Candidates
Ronnie & Jaqueline MacKensen - Panama
Ronnie has been a GMI-affiliated short-term missionary with the taek-
wondo team BreakThrough for nearly three years bringing awareness of
the grace of God to the churches in Costa Rica and Paraguay. He has
used martial arts as an evangelism tool to build relationships and to give
BreakThough and the local missionaries the opportunity to share the
gospel of Jesus Christ. He is taking classes at the Berean Bible Institute
(BBI) in Springer, WI, to better prepare for his life in Panama. Jaqueline is from Brazil. When
she made her decision to become a Christian, she began to understand the importance of
missions and made her decision to pursue becoming a missionary. As a new missionary, she is
willing and excited to serve God under Grace Ministries International (GMI). The plan is to go to
Panama to start a new field along with three other missionaries, evangelize, plant churches,
and encourage and train men and women so they may continue the work in Panama. Panama
is Grace Ministries International’s newest mission field and Ronnie and Jaqueline will be joining
Alvaro and Mauren Barrantes. They hope to use their experiences to bring people to the church
and proclaim the gospel.
