HIGHLIGHTS FROM OUR WOMEN’S MINISTRY
“HEART 2 HEART MINISTRIES”
The mission of the Heart 2 Heart ministry is: Women investing in the lives of each other through
wisdom, mutual encouragement and friendship. The goal is to form strong and lasting relation-
ships in Christ that are a source of support, growth and strength. We see our mandate from
Titus 2:3-5, which places the responsibility on mature and godly women to teach and disciple
younger women in the faith. If you are interested in becoming a mentor/mentee, sign ups will
begin in August. We are looking for women of all ages and all walks of life. You don’t have to be
PERFECT or make a huge time commitment to come along side another lady for the year. We
are just looking for women who want to share life with other women in a mentoring setting. Heart
2 Heart is also looking for a coordinator for the fall. If you have a desire to see women
mentoring women, please contact Dawn VandenBrink at thevandenbrinks@gmail.com or
399-9776.
We still have some needs for VBS! If you can supply any of the items below,
please drop them off at the church in the Fellowship Hall near the VBS Table this
week. If you want the non-food items returned, please put your name on them!

candies such as M&M’s, Rolos, Gold Wrapped Chocolate Coins, etc.
PROPS & CRAFTS: water bottles, #2 Cans, picnic basket, short beach chairs, beach balls,
and a dingy or some type of small boat.

for your “cup of Joe” as the L.I.G.H.T.S. will be serving coffee and more
out of the Youth Room starting at 9:00 a.m. before church and after church
until noon. Parkside’s L.I.G.H.T.S. Coffee House will have regular coffee
