* for safety and Christian growth for the group from
Parkside attending Grace Kid’s Camp in PA: Tyler &
Courtney Cook, Egan & Moira Fogerty, Ashley Kimbel
and Madison Postma;
* for healing for Al Tennant who fell on 7/21 and had hip
replacement - he is now receiving Physical Therapy at
Rest Haven - no visitors for now please;
* for healing for Lyle VanderHaar who had another
surgery on his knee on 7/22 and will be starting all over
with his physical therapy;
* for the oxygen treatments to slow down the slight tumor
growth for John Feyereisen and for courage and grace
amidst the fight;
* for a speedy appraisal of Fay Griffin’s house and that
the sale will go through soon;
* for the remainder of Tobin Crook’s treatments to be
very tolerable with little side effects;
* for Dietrich Klemm who has been accepted by the
Navy into Officer Candidate School...pray that he does
excellent on the OCS tests so he can get into the flight
training program to become a naval aviator...his dream
job;
* for our homebound including Ray Reidsma, Kay
Everett & Ida Mae TerBeek;
* for our Prayer Families of the week: Carley Cannon,
Barb Carlisle, Diane Cartwright, Dave, Margie, Zach &
Sam Caruth, John Cook, and Tyler & Courtney Cook;

MEN’S C.A.Y.R. GROUP

Pantry is open to anyone in need of food or non-perishable supplies. This is a
confidential service - Contact Julie Hapke or Ruthann VanAelst at
616-405-6618 to see how we can assist you.
CHURCH PANTRY
For the month of August, we’re collecting lunch supplies and snacks such as
peanut butter, jelly, honey, crackers, pretzels, popcorn, etc. for the Food
Pantry. Items can be put in the pantry box located next to the Children’s
Ministry Counter. Of course, donations of any kind are always accepted.
If you are experienced on a musical
instrument, we are looking for more
musicians to serve on our Worship Team.
FRIDAY NIGHT FAMILY FUN AT THE FURBUSH’S
All youth group aged youth and their families, along with youth sponsors and
young adults are invited to “fun and fellowship” in and around the pool at Big
Fur (Daniel), Linda & Jessica’s home, 4781 Crestwood Avenue in Holland.
The evenings run throughout the summer on Friday nights starting at 5:30 p.m.
More information is available at the youth counter. (NOTE: There will be no
gatherings on August 11 and 18 but it will resume on August 25.)

ADULT FAMILY BIBLE HOUR Please join us from 11:00 a.m. to noon
today for “Our Mission Starts Now” taught by Harold Kimbel in the Board
Room. The series is an in-depth look at our salvation, purpose and every
day walk as we live out our life in Christ Jesus.
WEDNESDAY SUPER SENIORS If you are 55 and older, we welcome you
to meet with other seniors in Parkside’s Fellowship Hall this Wednesday
from 10:30-11:30 a.m. as we pray, sing, laugh, learn and build community
with each other. We will be going to a local restaurant for lunch following
our fellowship hour.
SUMMER KIDS CLUB Plan to have your kids and their friends ages 5-11
be part of our Wednesday night Kids Club meeting at Parkside from 6:30-
8:00 p.m. through August 16. We have singing, games, Bible stories,
puppets, memory verses, refreshments and more!
TUESDAY MORNING PRAYER Did you know that every Tuesday morning
the staff meets to pray from11:30-noon for our church attendees and the
needs of the church and did you know YOU’RE INVITED to join them? If
you’re available during this time, please consider joining others as to pray
to our Lord and Savior!
PARENTS’ MEETING ALL Jr. & Sr. high youth and their parents are
invited to an ice cream social on Wednesday, August 20 from 7:00-8:30 pm.
Mark the date on your calendar now and plan to attend to learn about some
exciting changes for our youth group and to enjoy ice cream and fellowship!

Tonight will be our final Summer Worship Night from 7:00-8:30 p.m.

CHURCH PANTRY For the month of August, we’re collecting lunch supplies and snacks such as peanut butter, jelly, honey, crackers, pretzels, popcorn, etc. for the Food Pantry. Items can be put in the pantry box located next to the Children’s Ministry Counter. Of course, donations of any kind are always accepted. If you are experienced on a musical instrument, we are looking for more musicians to serve on our Worship Team. FRIDAY NIGHT FAMILY FUN AT THE FURBUSH’S All youth group aged youth and their families, along with youth sponsors and young adults are invited to “fun and fellowship” in and around the pool at Big Fur (Daniel), Linda & Jessica’s home, 4781 Crestwood Avenue in Holland. The evenings run throughout the summer on Friday nights starting at 5:30 p.m. More information is available at the youth counter.
