Ramos and families as their father, Roger VandePol,
passed away last Thursday;
t for peace for Melva Russcher who received word
that the biopsy done on her head is melanoma. She
will be seeing a surgeon soon to have the spot
removed and to see if it has spread to her lymph
nodes;
t for continued healing for Larry Pete who was in the
hospital last week to have a stent placed in his bile
duct that was clogged;
t for healing for Bill Raby’s son, Michael, as he has
been diagnosed with State 4 tongue cancer that has
spread to his lymph nodes;
t for no permanent damage for Connie Lentz’s dad,
Jerry Osborne, who had a massive stroke last week;
t for encouragement for Tobin Crook and Zach
Caruth as they continue with medical treatments;

CHILDREN’S CHOIR ON WEDNESDAY EVENINGS Children from 1st - 5th
grade are encouraged to join Parkside’s Children’s Choir “Grace Notes” held
every Wednesday evening from 5:15-6:00 p.m. The choir is under the
direction of Pastor Gary & Sue Spykerman.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY Join us this Thursday from 6:30-8:00 pm for a
verse-by-verse study of the book of Philippians. The study will continue
through November 17. For more information, please see either Cheryl Tooke
or Susan Spykerman.
3 G’s (God’s Gifted Gals) Please join other ladies at the church this Friday
at 6:30 p.m. and bring a craft to work on or to just hang out with other ladies
and talk! Plan to join the fun and invite your lady friends!
INFANT/CHILD DEDICATION If you have an infant or child that you would
like to dedicate to the Lord, please plan to participate on Sunday, November
6, during the morning service. Application forms are on the Children’s
Ministry Counter. Please turn them in to the church office by this Tuesday.
FAMILY DINNER NIGHT Our next Family Dinner night will be on Wednesday
November 9. This is open to everyone in the church. See details and signup
form on the insert today and please put your signup form in the offering plate
today as we know how many to plan for.
WOMEN’S LIFT EVENT This month LIFT will be held on Thursday, Nov.10,
from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the church. Please join us as we discover what it
means to invite God to wrap Himself around us. During our time of fellow-
ship, we will be making t-shirt scarves for ourselves or to give away as a gift.
Light refreshments and snacks will be provided. Please sign up before
November 8 at the Women’s Ministry counter to ensure that we have enough
materials.
YOUNG MARRIED COUPLES BOWLING Young Married Couples are
invited to a bowling outing on Friday, November 11, at 7:00 p.m. at Northland
Bowling Lanes. Dessert will be served at Bill & Debb Large’s following
bowling. Please schedule your babysitters and plan to attend a fun evening
out! RSVP as soon as possible so we know how many lanes to reserve -

Our 8th Annual Arts & Crafts Fair at Parkside is right
around the corner! As part of the event, we hold a BAKE
SALE with all proceeds going to Youth Missions. Can you help
out by providing baked items such as cookies, brownies, cup-
cakes, breads, pies, gluten free and sugar free items, etc.?
There is a tear-off on the back side of this insert (along with
the Family Dinner Night signup.) Please complete it and put
it in the offering plate or give it to Diane Cartwright or
Judy Timmer. Items must be dropped off at the church
by 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18.

Sermon: “Nail Them To The Door Again”

In 1517, Martin Luther nailed his Ninety-five Theses to the
door of the church in Wittenberg, Germany. The time has
come to nail them to the door again. The theology of the
Protestant Reformation can be summarized in five
concise statements of faith.
