Introduction
AB Bulk Mailer is worlds best selling direct marketing tool to send emails, extract emails, verify emails, check bounces, and has built-in

Installation
Let us go for this tutorial for AB Bulk Mailer. The software is for lifetime free and can be downloaded(zip file) from www.abobjects.com or
www.abbulkmailer.com

When you click above link, it will show you below window.
Click save file and save to your desktop.If you need any help in installing you can send a mail to us at abobjects@gmail.com, our technical person

After download is complete, you will see a set up like below in your saved destination .

Double click on abbulkmailer_setup.exe and the software will get installed as shown below:-
Click next and install it.This will install software on your computer.
Running the software:
Step 1:
Go to windows start menu-> AB Bulk Mailer. You will see a screen like below:-

Synopsis:
1. Message: These allows you to create email message that you can send to your contacts. It also allows you to schedule your email compaigns.
2. Contacts: These are the email addresses to whom you want to send mails.
3. Smtp servers: These are the servers/smtp email addresses/IP addresses from which the mails can be sent to contacts.
4. Email Extractor : This allows you to grab email addresses from a website, text/excel file or Google search.
5. Email Verifer : It allows you to verify if your mail list (i.e. the email addresses)
6. Easy send: This allows you to send mails directly to your contacts
7. Settings : This allows you to change mail related settings for a better inbox delivery .
8. Register button : It allows you to register your software.For licensed users
9. mailing history link: It gives you a detailed description of the previously sent emails aand options or resending.
10. health of senders link: allows to detect and fix problems in gmail and yahoo smtp senders
11. Social marketing links helps to post adds on facebook and twitter.
12. Quick Mail : It allows you to send Emails fast from your software.
13. Notes:This gives you writing memo to store your notes.
14. Bounce checker allows you to track bounced emails of any pop/gmail/yahoo/imap smtp account.
Step 1:- Let us click Contacts button.

This screen shows the email addresses to which you can send emails. You can add as many as email addresses that you want here either typing
one by one, or importing them from excel, notead text files, email extractor.Duplicate emails addresses are automatically omitted.
if you click on 'Import from Excel' button to see something like below:-

Please enter index of fields to be imported from excel sheet. Suppose if email is contained in 5Th column of excel sheet, then to import it enter index
as 4 So it is actually one less than column number of excel sheet..
You can import any or all the fields of an excel sheet and they can be later inserted into the mail body in messages.
You can also store any type of values in field1, field2.... field7.It can contain any information like address ,names, sssn, age, amount or any relevant
informartion.
For example, filed1 can contain the phone number or SSN of the person to whom you want to send emails. You can import these fields
automatically by importing from excel file.The advantage of using these fields is that they can be inserted into a dynamically created message, in
Messages->Insert menu -> Custom Fields.
Tip:- You need to enter 786 as the value of field that you do not want to enter from excel sheet.
contact groups:
Putting too many email addresses in the software can unecesarily slow down the software. So solution is to use contact groups. Say you have 100K
emails,you can create two groups of size 50K each. This way you can achieve best performance. The contact group size recommended is 20,000
emails.
There will be one active contact group at a time, so you can click any contact group button like BM, Project Manager etc below,to set it active.

You can have any number of groups. you can click 'save to file' button to export all leads in current contact group to text file.
Scenerio for using contact groups:- say if you have a text file that contains 1 million email addresses. Now you want to import them to AB Bulk
Mailer, may be by creating multiple groups of size 30,000 emails per group.In this case you can click 'Group Maker' button. Logic is to set size to
30000 and click 'Generate' button which prompts you for a tex file containg email addresses. Then system generates many text files automatically
which can later by imported to contacts one by one in seperate contact groups. So you need to create a contact group and then click 'Import from text
file' button, for each file generated above in Group Maker.

So the tip that lies here is to place all your email addresses in a text file and use group maker to create smaller sized files which can later be
imported to the software one by one by clicking import from excel file.
Paste button:- Say you are on some web page or have a word, excel or any file open, you can copy and paste emails by clicking copy at one place
and clicking Paste button in contacts screen in ab bulk mailer.
Delete Contacts by file:- It prompts you for a text file containing emails that you want to delete all at once in ab bulk mailer.
Centralized unsubscribe/blacklisted emails: The software lets you to unsubscribe an email address or even to maintain a handy blacklisted or
bounced emails as shown above. So you can delete the blacklisted emails from all contact groups any time, by clicking 'delete all blacklisted emails'
button. You can directly paste your blacklisted emails in the yellow box below:-

Clicking 'unsubscribe' button above actually searches the email and marks the email as inactive in contacts screen. Clicking 'Get unsubscribed
emails' above shows a list of inactive emails. Please note that emails can be sent to active contacts only.
Step 2:
To send emails to 'contacts' you need smtp server or gmail, gmx, outlook.com, yahoo, comcast, your website emails, or a dedicated internet smtp
server etc. You need to add them to the software one time and the software will use those sending email addresses to send emails.
Click smtp servers' button in the main window.

You will see the below:-

This system allows you to add MULTIPLE gmail/yahoo/outgoing details of smtp server accounts for sending mails and the software will rotate them
automatically while sending emails.
For example, if I add 1000 gmail/yahoo accounts i can send 1000X500 = 500,000 per day free because one gmail/yahoo account allow you to send
500 emails per day, and 100 emails per hour
Click 'Add email account/smtp server' button. Below screen shot show how you can add a gmail/your website account to send emails.

Please note adding smtp account is a one time activity. You have to add each account once.
Optionally, you may click tree on right, for automatically getting details of popular free smtp servers that can be added to the software.
Once you click "Check and Add" button you will see something like below:-

Now if you have say total 5 gmail and may be yahoo accounts as well, you can add them one by one in a similar way.As you can see
Godaddy,hotmail,comcast,Aol and many servers can been added. If you face any problem you can use other ports like 25 or 465. You may also
login to your cpanel hosting account or email provider settings and check outgoing pop mail settings for a given sender email address that you want
to add to as smtp sender.
Note: gmail and yahoo allows you to send 500 mails per day per account. So you have to add multiple accounts to send mails. If you want to add
yahoo account, click on Yahoo Mail icon on right. It will fill the default details of yahoo account like smtp server.So only thing that you have to do is to
add user and password of yahoo account in that case.We recommend that per hour limit of gmail accounts be also taken as 100.
For website based emails you can check the limits with hosting company. Typically godaddy smtp account has atleast 128 mails per account.
AB Bulk Mailer handles this automatically for you. It will send mails based on per hour/day limits. This will prevent your accounts from getting
blocked as system never sends more mails than specefied in per day setting for smtp server. Similarly it will never send more than per hour limit.
By the way after adding account you can change any paramater like per day limit etc by clicking proper account in smtp servers.
Scenerio:- Say you have 2 gmail accounts and want to send 1200 mails. How system will work?
System will send 1000 mails from 2 accounts,if you keep AB Bulk Mailer running, after 24 hours limits will be reset by software, and system will send
100 from each of the two accounts. So it will take approx 25 hours to send 1000 mails using 2 servers.
Do you want to send mails from your website?
Add your website mail in a similar way as shown below.The procedure is same as adding a gmail account. For your website/IP you can specify your
own per day/hour limits may be below the ones set by hosting provider.

Please note that if you have an internet/linux/LAN based smtp server you can add that to the smtp server by entering 'smtp user ID' which need not
necessarily be an email address. While adding smtp server 'Email Address' can be any email from smtp server or any email address from any
domain. Practically while adding your own smtp server usually you need to enter proper value for a port number and check with both
checked/unchecked state of 'Secure connection SSH checkbox .
For your website cpanel based email address, gmail, yahoo,outlook, gmx, msn,comcast etc., both email address and smtp user id should same.
If a gmail account is not adding then 1) go to gmail.com website 2) login using the email address that is not getting added 3) in gmail settings enable
pop/imap settings 4) Open link https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps in the same browser window in which gmail is opened ,
and then click Enable in 'Access for less secure apps'.
Pop Forwarding settings should be enabled in settings in gmail.com for the email address to be added. To check pop forwarding settings for gmail
account :-
a)login to gmail account
b) Click wheel on top right
c) click settings from popup
d)click Forwarding and POP/IMAP
e) in pop download select 'enable pop for all mail'
You can add more accounts, it will shown in the grid below.

It is not necessary that you add only few accounts, you can add say 100 gmail/yahoo/live/gmail etc accounts. You have to create the email
addresses first in say gmail.com/yahoo.com and then enter them in the software. Inbox rate is directly proportional to the age/phone verification of
the account. So create accounts say today and add them to the software after a week. You should enter multiple accounts from different companies
in the software for best results. Some of our customers use smarterasp.net is a website where you can order for a smtp server and it to ab bulk mailer
and they charge $30 to send 10000 mails per day for whole year. Others in addition to gmail accounts use godaddy accounts with 250 per day limit..
You can import smtp server details from the import click here.It will allow you to browse for the text file in which you have kept all your addresses and
password details. Idea is format is smtp user, email address, password of account. smtp server, port etc will be picked from user interface. If you
have accounts from multiple companies like yahoo, gmail, best way to save same type of accounts in a file, like one file can contain only gmail
accounts, another only yahoo accounts.Later you can import them all one by one by clicking browse button.

Likewise, you can export it to file using export button after right clicking . And save your smtp details to a file.

Tips:
Enable Pop settings for each the gmail account, in gmail.com, as shown above.If you get invalid credentials error while adding gmail accounts, you
need to Enable settings for each account at the link
Normally ports used are 587, 25, 2525, 80, 465.Try all ports. For php based website emails, check outgoing mail settings of the account in cpanel
(i.e http://yourwebsite/cpanel).For others check with website admin You can do the enable pop settings for yahoo, msn, hotmail accounts in
respective websites.
Usually GoDaddy has limit of 250 mails per hour and 250 per day..
System organises the account on the basis of use order and rotates the email accounts automatically after sending every email.so,if you have yahoo
and gmail accounts ,you can assign 'use order' to each like '1 'for gmail account and '2' for yahoo account ,3 again to gmail account and so on. The
smtp servers will be used as per use order. This way you can set delay between mails to zero for best use of software.
Step 3:Click Messages button from the main window.The system will show below window:-

In this you can enter mail subject and mail body. I have typed some text there. You can create your own.You can select some text or image and click
Hyperlink from toolbar. This way you can insert links in message or make the images clickable.
To insert images and substituatable items like receivers email, click Insert menu. For example, to insert email of receiptent add [emailAddress] to
your subject or body. This will automatically insert email of receiver when you send mails.Similarly you can add contact name from insert menu. You
can insert contact email/name and unsubscribe link etc to make mails unique. This will increase inbox delivery.

You can insert email address of receiver etc, by putting the following in mail subject/body
A typical mail may be like

in this case [randomnumber] will be substituted with 8 digit number, [SENDINGTIME] by time at which email is sent, [contactName] will be
contains receiptants email. Note these details can be entered in contact screen.
How to rotate message subjects and message bodies
AB Bulk Mailer allows you to enter 10 different subjects and 20 email bodies which will get rotated after every mail that gets sent. This means every
sent mail can be made unique and hence ensures high inbox rate.
It is a good idea to insert sending time, or unique number in message bodies and rotating subjects.

You can copy paste from main body and create a seperate body or you may click reset button as shown here.You do not need to mention all 20
bodies of the email, but use as many as you want.
Below shows how system allows to set a rotating body of email.

Templates are available through the menu, you can save your own or use a pre-supplied ones that come with software. You can import mail
templates from your computer or any website.

The software allows you to save your templates on your computer and also modify them. You can import and modify templates from any website and
then use it.

How to tracks emails
Tracking is practically not recommended as it affects inbox delivery. You can track emails practically if you insert image in message.You may click
Message -> Tracking from menu. It shows you how to track emails. Typically you need to click 'get tracking files for upload'. It will then show you
some php files and upload it on your website. For php based websites, only you need to change user and and password for database in php files
and create a table in mysql database with below script:-

Then you need to upload getPicture.php and view.php to your website. Then in message , at any place use below:-
<IMG src="http://yourwebsite.com/getPicture.php?eid=[emailAddress]">
Then type http://yourwebsite.com/view.php . It will show yu something like below:-

If you are using non php websites like jsp or asp.net websites,you can create the above table in your database and then create proper files keeping
getPicture.php and view.php as reference. Basically you need to convert code from one scripting language to another. You may need a small help
from a website programmer for it.

How to schedule emails
Go to Messages-> Options. Click schedule enabled, select schedule date and time, and contact group(which contacts group emails and can be
created in contacts screen) to which scheduled message will be sent. Click Save button at bottom.

You can schedule multiple messages, each can have its own details and scheduling policies.
Although addung attachment is not recommended as it effects inbox rate, we still can attach files from the Attach Files button. May be you want to
change HTMLyourself for the message. To do so go to click ->Edit HTML from menu.
How to add unsubscribe link
Unsubscription is automatically handled.
May be you want to add extra level of unsubscribing, additional to automatic unsubscribing that is handled by bulk menu, to do so go to Insert menu-
> unsubscribe link

Finally, to save the schedule click Close button at the bottom to close the screen.
Step 4: Setting up Reply Id.
In the same Email Messages screen,go to options Tab and click mail settings. It will take you to below screen
When clients reply your email marketing compaigns, you will get informed on the Reply email address mentioned above. Note mails go from
different smtp accounts but replies reach on this single account so that you can check single account for responses.Do not worry for blacklisting of
reply id as mails are not sent from reply id.
On the screen please read the Intsructions ,as it is strictly prohibited to use pirated software.
Click Save button.
Step 6: How to send mails?

There are two modes in sending mails :-
1. To schedule mails as discussed in Messages above. When the scheduled times reaches mail goes automatically as shown below:-
2. Click Easy Send button, it will show you below screen.
In Easy Send there are two modes in sending mails, which are mentioned as three options :-

a)Super fast Personalized: This is a highly recommended option in sending mails and it has a high 100% inbox delivery rate. This is also the
default checked option. Super fast Mail delivery Introduced in the software. It sends the emails fast and in parellel with one another. If you have 100
email senders ( possibly gmail and yahoo accounts) and delay between mail as 8, this means 50 personalized mails will go at a time every 8
seconds. That means per day you can send:
(24 X 60 X 60 X (100/8) ) = 10,80,000 personalized mails free. That is almost unlimited.
b)Personalised:This is another mode of sending personalised mails .It will send emails one by one.Its not the ideal one for bulk mails..
c)Bcc mode: It allows you to send say 45 mails at a time.It has lesser inbox rate.This option is not recomended with gmail/yahoo smtp senders.
How ever you may use it and mention send at a time of 10 or so. You have an option for setting the number of mails send at a time max upto 45.
It is recomended to run gmail checker when you have gmail accounts in smtp servers.This will prevent your email accounts from getting blocked.
gmail checker is discussed below.
How to send mails here: Simply select the email addresses from left and click the button '>' and then click Send button as shown below for the
Super fast personalised option. Please note we recommend Super fast personalized option rather than Bcc option This option sends emails at high
end technology.
Gmail checker logs into all accounts to prevent them from blocking.Select the message that you want to send from top right.

Settings :While sending mails you can click rotate reply Id check-box.This will enfore reply id change with every outgoing email. The reply id will be
set as email address of sender. This means if,mail goes from thomas@gmail.com, then reply id will be set to thomas@gmail.com. For next email
sent, it will have a different reply id.
The box below the checkbox allows you to change delay between mails any time while mails are being sent. These two options are dynamic
options and can be used for seamless and effective mail sending.

Right click the List and we get unsent emails option.On clicking this,all the unsent messages are re-entered back in the list and send again
As seen here,the right click menu gives you options to remove your contacts,clear the List and also to paste from clipboard.
Right click with your mouse on the messages section ,and you get to edit/view your message.
After clicking old logs ,you can select the text file of Logs and view it.

If you have gmail acconuts in smtp servers click gmail checker as shown below. That will automatically check the accounts and will prevent them
from getting blocked.

Automatic gmail checker checks all accounts and allows you to send 80 to 90 mails at a time.

The pause button can be used to pause the checking and then Run it again.The gmail checker keeps on running in the background unless you click
the stop checker link on the form:

You will see this is in the Easy send form.

When receiver tries to reply the message, reply reaches to the mail as mentioned in settings:-

If the receiver unsubscribes, you will automatically receive email.
To get contacts from another contact group, expand combo box at the top and click Get button. To check how many mails were sent from which smtp
server , click + button in Easy send.
To check real time mail sending reports, click Log button. All the cases are mentioned below

Step 7:
Facebook and Twitter Auto posts can be send by clicking facebook and twitter buttons respectively:
When you click the button,this screen appears:

Select the checkboxes if you want twitter or facebook or both .Go to edit settings link :

After entering the username and password,you can write the status message you want to post in the textbox and Click on add button.It automatically
posts it on your facebook wall.Also,create a list of messages and posts them .Rightclick on the Message ,List box you will get a menu .Delete will
delete the selected message .And you can import messages from a text file.It also gives an option to export or save your messages in a text file on
your computer for later use.
For twitter account,however,we can set the maximum limit to number of tweets to add.

Next click close button to close the screen.
Step 8: What are contact settings for better delivery?
Go to settings and you see below:-

If reply id of outgoing email is set,there are some servers like hotmail, msn etc. who block the mail if sent to them. To circumvent the problem AB
BulkMailer does not set reply id to hotmail accounts. That means if you uncheck always set same reply id, then reply id will be set as mentioned
in settings even if receiving server likes it or not. The checkbox No is unchecked by default.
Delay between mails is number of seconds; and it is when one mail goes after how many seconds the second mail should go. So it is a time
between mails. If you keep it too low, say 5 seconds, receiving smtp server may bounce or mark spam your mails, resulting in a low delivery.
It should be approx greater than 20 for gmail and yahoo smtp senders. For your own smtp server, you may reduce it.
Mail sending timeout : Increase it if your internet speed is very low.
Outgoing mail language:- It is a character set of the mail body of the messages that you have in Messages screen. For chineese, korean etc,you can
change it.
Delivery notification:- It can be used when your contacts are correct. If you set it to success, a mail can be sent by receiving server to the email that
you mentioned in settings ie reply id.
Mail priority:- better leave it to default.
In the more tab -> user can update for new versions. The check for updates button ,checks for the latests updates availabe for the software.

There is also an upgrade to corporate version link for standard user.
Step 9: How does Quick Mail work?
Send your Emails simply by clicking Quick Mail link and you can send to one or more contacts .You can paste it from clipboard .And click send.
It works normally without the special features like random numbers etc.
Step 10: How to extract contacts from google search, craigslist etc?
You can use built-in email extractor. Click on Email Extractor button as shown below.

This will open below window:-

This tool allows you to extract contacts using google search, internet and any website, file etc. Above shows the details. The search keywords can
be same as in google. However if you are looking for exact phrases you need to put the phrase in double quotes. For example, if i use phrase as "I
am looking for loan" @gmail.com, system will search all the internet using google search and grab the contacts where user have given the exact
phrase "I am looking for loan". If you want to search for all the words then you do not need to use double quotes.
Referrer is any website. You can keep it say abcf45 or craigslist.com or any thing. Actually it does not matter. If you get no results you can change it
to any thing. The number of pages is any number upto 100. If you keep it more, more mails will be fetched.
To save contacts click Add to my contacts button.
You can also search from any website using google search e.g "I am looking for scooter" @craigslist.com. This will search craigslist website for the
phrase and return results.
Also @ symbol is a must forany search query.If you do get a lot of errors , try to search after an hour or so.
Step 11: How to extract contacts from a website?

In AB Bulk Mailer there are two ways to do it.
a) Go to Email extractor -> Web Link/Website. You see the below screen:-
In the textbox, you can type the full link of website like http://abc.com, You can also try to seacrh in a specefic folder of website by typing the url as
say http://abc.com/bulk-mail/
The number of pages means how is the degree of search. More depth, more deep the search it and more results the system can find. For very large
websites this option is not nonexistent
If you have all your email addresses in a text file, you can use the option 'From File' in the email extractor.
b) Extract by Interaction: This is a recomended option for searching any website. System automatically extracts emails as you navigate the
website, entered in the text box. Every time it adds the emails

You can use this feature to extract from any website like facebook, twitter etc.
Step 12: How to verify if your email addresses are correct?
If you have an email database, mostly they are incorrect. To verify such email accounts start the AB Bulk Mailer, and click Email Verify button.
Select your contacts , then press '>' button, and then click Verify button.

suppose system verifies if an email mailer@emailsystem.com.
Verify only domain otion:- The system will check if domain emailsystem.com exists, if not it will mark it is non existing. If the domain exists, it will
mark it as existing and will not do vigorous extra checking.
Rigid security means not exists:- if a domain, say emailsystem.com. does not allow annonymous email verification for security, the system locates it.
and if the option 'Rigid security means not exists' is checked the system marks the email as non-existant.
Max threads:- A value from 50 to 100 is ok. So 100 email addresses can be verified in parallel.
Delete from contacts button at right, click it to delete the non existent contacts. If you see some error, restart bulk mailer and try again.
The system does not allow yahoo/gmail accounts as they do not allow it. But yahoo and gmail are not the only 2 websites in the world.
Also right click and we can import contacts to verify or paste contacts from clipboard or even remove contacts.
Step 13:
click Health of email senders -> then click Get Health button.. In my case it shows below details:-

The Health of Emails has three types:
Healthy:All Email Credentials are working...
Invalid Credentials:Oops,something went wrong here .May be the password.Check with SMTP server settings
Captcha required:Go to Your Ocassional Login tab and see what gmail wants to know..
Practically ocassional login prevents your email senders from getting blocked.You should ocassionally login to your email addresses.

Getting latest mails allows you to get all the inboxes of your email accounts. Note it shows only RECENT mails. It does not show old mails and can
help you to find responses of your email compaigns.

Step 14: How to check what mails were sent?
In the main screen click history button, you will see a screen like below:-

Step 15: How to manage all smtp servers?
Ocassionally check your smtp servers using browser to see if all is well. For google accounts use gmail checker(discussed above)
You can reset the Smtp count if all is going wrong.
