2. What I have Learned!
Throughout the course I have learned
many new things and techniques that will
help me in the future.
However there were a few things that
stood out to me more than others.
Style and clarity, revision, and audience
are essential in all writing
3. What I have Learned!
Style and Clarity are important because
its how your reader will understand what
you are saying.
You have to pick a style of writing that is
appropriate for your readers
Use appropriate language and write to be
concise.
4. What I have Learned!
Audience is also important because it is
who will be reading your writing.
You always need to keep your audience in
mind and write to their appeals.
5. What I have Learned!
Revising is a key part of writing
You need to be concise and get your point
across and without revision your writing
could sound very bad and confusing.
With revision you can achieve wonderful
things.
6. How I learned!
The WA4 program proposal assignment
helped me hone my skills with revision
and writing towards an audience because
I had to be very specific and clear.
I had to make sure I was writing
professionally and revising so that
everything made sense to the readers.
7. How I Learned!
Furthermore I learned style and quality
through the WA3 newsletter.
I knew I had to capture the audience and
make my writing pop and appeal to the
readers.
So I knew I had to write in a specific way
to grab the audiences attention.
8. Why does the learning matter?
The learning matters because I will be
writing professionally for the rest of my
life.
Therefore it was good to learn more about
professionally writing before I had to learn
the hard way in the real world.
This learning taught me to manage my
time better especially if I need to write
large assignments
9. How I will use the learning in the
future
No matter what job I end up having I will
use professional writing in everyday life.
There will always be a need for writing
towards an audience and conveying your
message in a pleasant way.
Writing is an important ability to have, but
having the ability to write professionally is
a skill that can get you a job over
someone else.
