Logging On to My Millennium Account
Logging On to My Millennium Account
• Access the library’s OPAC
• Select the My Account link
Logging On to My Millennium Account
• At the log-in screen
  type your last name,
  library card number,
  and pin
• Select the Submit
  button
First Time Users
• First time users
  must enter only
  their last name and
  library card number
  (the pin field should
  be left blank), then
  select the Submit
  button
• The user will be
  prompted to create a
  pin
Renewing Checked Out Items
View and Renew Checked Out Items
• Under the heading Your Circulation
  Information, select the currently checked
  out button
View and Renew Checked Out Items
• Scroll down to see a list of items you have checked out. The list
  includes the Title, Barcode, Status and Call Number.
• If material has been renewed, the number of renewals will show in
  the Status column.
• If any items are overdue, the amount of the current fine will show.
Buttons Available to Renew
  Click this button to sort your list of checked out items in ascending
  order by Due Date.

  Once you have sorted your list by Due Date, click this button to
  resort in ascending order by Checkout Date. (Please note you will
  not see the Checkout Date listed).

  Click this button to renew all of the items in the list at one time.

  Click this button to renew your material after placing a
  checkmark(s) in the box(es) in the RENEW column by clicking
  with your mouse.
Successful Renewal
• If the item was successfully renewed, the word “RENEWED” will
  appear in the STATUS column along with a new due date for your
  items. The number of times renewed will then appear in the STATUS
  column.
• Notice below the first and second items were renewed successfully, so
  the new due date for those items is 11-3-11.
Unsuccessful Renewals
• If any items were not able to be renewed, a message will appear at
  the top of the screen to inform you.
• You will have to look below to see which items were not renewed.
  The reason an item was not renewed will be listed in the STATUS
  column along with the original due.
• Notice the third item below was not able to be renewed because
  there is a HOLD on the item.
Reasons Renewals May be Unsuccessful
• You have outstanding fines that total more than $5.99. You will receive a
  message on the screen stating “You owe too much money”.
• Your library card (registration) has expired. You will receive a message on the
  screen stating “Your registration has expired”.
• Another borrower has requested the item. The words “ON HOLD” will appear in
  the STATUS column.
• The type of material is not eligible for renewal. The words “RENEW NOT
  ALLOWED” will appear in the STATUS column.
• You already renewed the item once. The words “TOO MANY RENEWALS” will
  appear in the STATUS column.
• You may not renew items if a certain percentage of time has not past since the
  original checkout; e.g., you cannot renew an item one day after initial checkout.
  The words “TOO SOON TO RENEW” will appear in the STATUS column.
E-Reserves
Placing an E-Reserve Request
• Log-on to your My Millennium Account
• Click on the Search Catalog button or select a
  search option on the right side of the screen under
  the heading Search Options.
• Search for the title/author/subject you would like to
  request

• From the browse screen, select the title to view
  the bibliographic record of the item you would
  like to request.

• Select the Request button at the top of the
  page.

• At the E-Reserve
  Verification Form, you
  have the option to select
  the library location
  where you would like to
  pick the item up. The
  default location will be
  the patron’s home
  library.
• Select the Submit
  button.

• If your e-reserve request was successful, you will receive
  the following message:




• If your e-reserve was unsuccessful, you will receive the
  following message:




• An e-reserve may be unsuccessful because it is a new
  item at a library, and the library will not send it to
  another location.
View Your E-Reserves
• Under the heading Your Circulation
  Information, click the request (hold) button.
• Please note if you have no requests the button
  will state 0 requests (holds)
View Your E-Reserves
• Scroll down to see the list of titles you have reserved. The
  list includes the Title, Status of the hold, the Pickup
  Location, and the “Cancel if not filled by” date.
• Note that you have the ability to change the pickup
  location. You must do so before the item is sent. Just use
  the drop down arrow to do so. If there is no drop down
  arrow, the item has already been sent.
Cancelling an E-Reserve Request
• Click on the Requests (holds) button in the Your
  Circulation information section.
• Scroll down to see the list of titles you have reserved.
• Place a checkmark in the box in the CANCEL column.
• Once you have selected all requests you wish to cancel,
  click Update List the button.
Fines
View your Unpaid Fines and Bills
• Under the heading Your Circulation Information
  click on the “$ in unpaid fines and bills”
  button
View your Unpaid Fines and Bills
• Scroll down to see
  the list of fines and
  fees you owe. The
  list includes the
  Title, Fine Amount,
  Date Checked Out,
  Date Due & Date
  Returned (if
  applicable).
Paying Fines Online
• If a patron owes more than $6.00, they can pay
  their library fines online using a MasterCard or
  Visa credit card. The site on which E-commerce
  and other My Account transactions takes place is
  on a “Secure” port.
• Fines that total less than $6.00 cannot be paid
  online.
Paying Fines Online
• If your fines total
  $6.00 or more,
  when you scroll
  down, select the
  Pay Online
  button.
• A pop up window
  will open. On the
  left side of the
  window, you will
  see each fine
  listed with a
  checkbox to the
  left of each one.
Paying Fines Online
• The default payment is all fines. If you wish to
  pay only a particular fine, uncheck the box to the
  left of the fines you do not want to pay at this
  time. The total fine amount will automatically
  recalculate.
• On the right side of the window, enter your
  BILLING and CREDIT CARD information.
• You will be asked to confirm that the
  information is correct and complete. If it is, click
  on the Submit button again.
Paying Fines Online
• If the transaction was successfully completed, you
  will see an Online Payment Receipt screen that you
  may print for your records by clicking the Print
  button. (Note you will also receive an e-mail receipt
  if your e-mail address is in your patron record).
• If you receive a message that states "we are unable
  to process the payment", your fines and fees will
  remain on your account. Click on the Thawte link
  for more information on possible reasons why the
  transaction was declined or contact your Local
  Library.

Cancelling an E-Reserve Request • Click on the Requests (holds) button in the Your Circulation information section. • Scroll down to see the list of titles you have reserved. • Place a checkmark in the box in the CANCEL column. • Once you have selected all requests you wish to cancel, click Update List the button.

  • 23. View your Unpaid Fines and Bills • Under the heading Your Circulation Information click on the “$ in unpaid fines and bills” button
  • 24. View your Unpaid Fines and Bills • Scroll down to see the list of fines and fees you owe. The list includes the Title, Fine Amount, Date Checked Out, Date Due & Date Returned (if applicable).
  • 25. Paying Fines Online • If a patron owes more than $6.00, they can pay their library fines online using a MasterCard or Visa credit card. The site on which E-commerce and other My Account transactions takes place is on a “Secure” port. • Fines that total less than $6.00 cannot be paid online.
  • 26. Paying Fines Online • If your fines total $6.00 or more, when you scroll down, select the Pay Online button. • A pop up window will open. On the left side of the window, you will see each fine listed with a checkbox to the left of each one.
  • 27. Paying Fines Online • The default payment is all fines. If you wish to pay only a particular fine, uncheck the box to the left of the fines you do not want to pay at this time. The total fine amount will automatically recalculate. • On the right side of the window, enter your BILLING and CREDIT CARD information. • You will be asked to confirm that the information is correct and complete. If it is, click on the Submit button again.
  • 28. Paying Fines Online • If the transaction was successfully completed, you will see an Online Payment Receipt screen that you may print for your records by clicking the Print button. (Note you will also receive an e-mail receipt if your e-mail address is in your patron record). • If you receive a message that states "we are unable to process the payment", your fines and fees will remain on your account.
