6. Go to the Boston Public Library web page ( http:// www.bpl.org )
9. Fill out the required information requested in the form. (You must use a valid Massachusetts home or work address.) Click on “I Accept”. (Remember to write down your PIN number!)
10. You have now been issued a temporary BPL eCard number. It is good for 6 months. Record the eCard number and your PIN number for future reference. Remember that the hyphen is part of the number.
11. Keep this number and your PIN number handy because you will be prompted for your e-card number at least once during each search session.
12. Accessing BPL Electronic Resources with your eCard Select the drop down menu for Electronic Resources or an area of your choosing
13. Search for the information you need from this screen. You will be asked for your eCard number when you actually conduct the search.
