2. Choose a
group type
For use by your universities or businesses where users have the
same e-mail domain, such as microsoft.com. Choose
‘Organization’ group type.
For use by a group of people who have e-mail with different
domains, such as Hotmail.com, gmail.com, etc. Choose ‘Public’
group type.
3. Choose a
group name
Choose a name that shows name of the group and its location,
such as ‘Microsoft Redmond’, or ‘Route 407 commuter group
Toronto’.
9. Miscellaneous
Distribute Group ID for others to join the group.
To join an ‘Organization’ group, e-mail with valid e-main domain is
needed.
Newly created group will take time to propagate to other regions.
E.g., it may take up to an hour for a user in Asia to be able to join a
group created in North America.
