degree of the English adjectives we should
know the following rules:
• 1 or 2 syllable ADJECTIVES:

POSITIVE:
- This chair is as confortable as that chair.

COMPARATIVE:
- You are younger than your husband.
- Buses are cheaper than trains.
- This book is more expensive than this one.
SUPERLATIVE:
- That house is the oldest in the street.
- This is the hotest part of the country.
