This presentation will provide information on using the
agile9imp command to import the Agile PLM database so
that it can be imported into another environment or

4. Importing the Dump File
1. Stop the application server
2. Open a console or command window
3. Navigate to the Agile PLM database utilities that were installed.
1. Execute: cd %ORACLE_BASE%/admin/<Oracle SID>/create/<agile schema
user>
2. Example: cd /oracle/admin/agile9/create/agile
4. Verify the settings are correct in the par file
1. Verify the file= property. This is the agile dump file you wish to import!
5. Reorganize the database
1. Execute: recreateagile.bat (Windows) or recreateagile.sh (Unix)
6. Import the database by executing agile9imp.bat (Windows) or ./agile9imp.sh
(Unix)
1. If the command has not been run on Unix before it may need to be set to
execute: chmod u+x agile9exp.sh
5. Start and Configure Agile
1. Start the application server Log into the JavaClient Set the server locations
Navigate to Admin tab | Server Settings | Server Locations
2. Set the application URLs
1. Set the Web Server URL to the current host
2. Set the Java Client URL
3. Save your settings
3. Set the File Manager URLs
1. Set the File Manager URL
2. Click the “Advanced >>” button and the configuration should update
the other fields
3. If the vault location is in a different directory, set the vault location
4. Click the OK button
4. Restart Tomcat
