The PMICC Chennai Flood Rehabilitation Program has received over INR 1 lakh in funding commitments. Led by Sriram R, the program will focus on long-term rehabilitation through education projects. An initial project was identified to support the Ashok Nagar Girls Higher Secondary School through repairs like painting blackboards, benches, and lights, as well as cleaning. The work is on a rushed schedule due to the school's holiday period. Volunteers are needed for coordination, cleaning, and procurement to complete the high impact, quick win project. Future support is sought for identifying additional schools and projects.
