3. PRAYER, FAITH AND OBEDIENCE
Have you ever heard the audible voice
of God speaking directly to you? How
did I made God moved in His thrones
and talks to me?
When I was a baby Christian I kept
asking God on how some men of God
gets their direct guidance from the
Lord.
Why doesn’t he talk to me like that?
4. PRAYER, FAITH AND OBEDIENCE
I used to think that God only spoke to the
chosen few – so they could relay his
messages to the masses. That’s why Joyce
Meyer, Beth Moore and Lisa TerKeurst tell
stories of receiving direct instruction from
God.
But what about the rest of us? How are we
supposed to feel when we listen for the
booming voice from the heavens or the
gentle whisper of God.
5. PRAYER, FAITH AND OBEDIENCE
You see, you can’t hear God’s voice if you
don’t have a personal conversation with
Him. In fact, every positive thought filled
with encouragement, creativity,
compassion and generosity, comes from
him. So essentially, if you’re having thoughts
like this, you are hearing His voice him,
right?
6. PRAYER, FAITH AND OBEDIENCE
KEYS IN HEARING GOD’S VOICE:
PRAYER is the open divine
communication to our creator. We
believe that when we are praying, we
are talking to God.
Philippians 4:6 “Be careful for
nothing; but in every thing by
prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be
made known unto God”
7. PRAYER, FAITH AND OBEDIENCE
FAITH is belief with strong conviction; firm
belief in something for which there may be no
tangible proof; complete trust in or devotion
to.
Faith is the opposite of doubt.
Faith is possibly the single-most important
element of the Christian life.
That faith increases the ability and the
efficiency of prayer is true; but it is likewise
true that prayer increases the ability and
efficiency of faith. Prayer and faith, work,
act and react, one upon the other.
8. PRAYER, FAITH AND OBEDIENCE
Hebrews 11:1 states, “Now Faith is the
assurance of the things we hope for,
and certain of the things we cannot
see”
Hebrews 11:6 "Without faith it is
impossible to please God, for
whoever would approach him must
believe that he exists and that he
rewards those who seek him”
9. PRAYER, FAITH AND OBEDIENCE
OBEDIENCE means we are willing to obey or
follow orders.
Obedience to God as our Father is vital in
Christian life. We maybe walking in prayer
and faith, yet we continue in known
disobedience with God. We maybe always
inside and active in our churches worshipping
and praising God, Yet we don’t have a real
holy fellowship with God.
Deuteronomy 6:18 “And you shall do what is
right and good in the sight of the Lord, that it
may go well with you, and that you may go in
and take possession of the good land that
the Lord swore to give to your fathers
10. PRAYER, FAITH AND OBEDIENCE
Prayer
is obedience.
Faith is the fruit of prayer.
Obedience to God makes it easy to
believe and trust God.
Jesus
taught that obedience and
answered prayer are related: “If you
abide in Me, and My words abide in you,
ask whatever you wish, and it shall be
done for you” (John 15:7, NASB)
11. PRAYER, FAITH AND OBEDIENCE
“God becomes a divine
vending machine, into which
we must place so many units
of obedience before pulling
the lever (through prayer) that
causes answers to drop into
our hands.” (Quotes from unknown author)

Five Ways to Practice
Hearing God’s Voice
13. PRAYER, FAITH AND OBEDIENCE
1. Set aside time…(Reading Bible,
Spiritual Diary/Devotion, Quiet
Time)
(Matthew 4:4) “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread
alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of
God.’
15. PRAYER, FAITH AND OBEDIENCE
Stillness is not a physical state. The kind of
stillness that open our heart to God is a
stillness of the mind. So whatever it takes for
you to quiet your mind, find a way to do it
every day, which means learn not to worry
of anything because God is always in
control of situations.
FAITH is in Him: enduring the pains without
complaints, responding righteously in life's
persecutions.

3. Stop demanding answers.
Do you have an agenda every time you
speak with God? Maybe you show up
with praise and gratitude sometimes.
Having a true personal relationship with
our Creator means we are relating to
Him as our best friend, sharing our
different phases of emotions… When I
am sad or in a happy mode, I talk to
Him, Praise Him and Thank
Him.....and just allow Him to lead the
conversation and be with you in
whatever situations. God always want
to embrace us, He is longing to be with
us always…

4. Expect to hear from him
Be always excited with the Lord…Expect great things
from Him….And do not doubt that you’re probably not
going to hear him. But if you open up to the possibility
that he converses with you all day long, it’s more likely
you will be paying attention when he speaks to you.

5. Be on the lookout for his
angels
Who says God has to speak
directly to you in his voice? The
Bible tells us he sends messengers
all the time. Who are the people
in your life who encourage you,
inspire you, challenge you to live
in Christ-like character?. could
they be angels placed in your
path for a specific purpose
