2. John 15:26
"When the Counselor comes,
whom I will send to you from the
Father, the Spirit of truth who goes
out from the Father, he will testify
about me.

3. John 16:13
But when he, the Spirit of truth,
comes, he will guide you into all
truth. He will not speak on his own;
he will speak only what he hears,
and he will tell you what is yet to
come.

4. 2 Peter 3:17
Therefore, dear friends, since
you already know this, be on your
guard so that you may not be
carried away by the error of
lawless men and fall from your
secure position.

5. • THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE SOURCE
OF TRUTH.
• WHO
CAN EXPOSE DIFFERENT
THINGS IN THIS WORLD THROUGH
HIS PRESENCE AND HIS WORDS.

6. 1.THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH EXPOSES THE
SPIRIT OF FALSEHOOD IN OUR LIFE
1 John 4:4-6
You, dear children, are from God and
have overcome them, because the one who is
in you is greater than the one who is in the
world. They are from the world and therefore
speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the
world listens to them. We are from God, and
whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever
is not from God does not listen to us. This is
how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the
spirit of falsehood.(NIV)

7. 2 Peter 2:2 (ESV)
And many will follow their sensuality,
and because of them the way of truth will be
blasphemed.
2 Peter 2:2 (NLT)
Many will follow their evil teaching and
shameful immorality. And because of these
teachers, the way of truth will be slandered.

8. • THE HOLY SPIRIT EXPOSES THE
FOLLOWING:
• FALSE TEACHER
• FALSE TEACHING
• FALSE BELIEFS AND PRACTICES
• FALSE RELIGION
• FALSE PROPHETS
John 14:17 (ESV)
even the Spirit of truth, whom the world
cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor
knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you
and will be in you.

9. 2.THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH EXPOSES
SIN AND DISOBEDIENCE IN OUR LIFE.
John 16:8
"When he comes, he'll expose the error
of the godless world's view of sin,
righteousness, and judgment:(MSG)
• If we hide sin in our hearts.
• If don’t follow the will of God.
• If our mind is deceive by the things of
this world.

When he comes, he will convict
the world of guilt in regard to sin and
righteousness and judgment:(NIV)

11. 3. THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH EXPOSES
SATAN’s SCHEMES IN OUR LIFE.
John 8:44 (NLT)
He was a murderer from the
beginning. He has always hated the
truth, because there is no truth in him.
When he lies, it is consistent with his
character; for he is a liar and the father
of lies.

From the first he was a taker of life; and
he did not go in the true way because
there is no true thing in him. When he
says what is false, it is natural to him,
for he is false and the father of what is
false.(BBE)

13. • HE DECEIVES AND HE LIES
2 Corinthians 11:14 (NLT)
But I am not surprised! Even Satan
disguises himself as an angel of light.
2 Thessalonians 2:9 (NIV)
The coming of the lawless one will be
in accordance with the work of Satan
displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles,
signs and wonders,

14. CONCLUSION:
• THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL SET US FREE FROM ALL THE
DECEPTIONS,CONFUSIONS AND FOOTHOLDS OF
THE ENEMY.
BECAUSE WE HAVE WITHIN US THE HOLY SPIRIT AS
THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH.
