SCS has developed a comprehensive media platform, in conjunction with partners, to distribute music, video, and other content over wireless networks and the internet to mobile and PC devices. They have partnered with SeaCom, the largest subsea fiber provider in Africa, to build media hubs across Africa connected by undersea fiber for high quality delivery of multimedia content from around the world. The platform will offer personalized music and radio apps for mobile devices as well as video and streaming TV with a variety of global and regional content including movies, shows, sports and custom regional news and cultural programming.

Our Solution SCS in conjunction with its media partners UrFilez, DKS and 3 Vision, have developed a comprehensive technology platform consisting of client-server software that permits the dissemination of music, TV & video, graphics, ringtones, Apps and other data products, over wireless networks for mobile terminal products and via the Internet for PC based products, enabling a Customer to download or stream Media Content emanating from the SCS Platform to his personal device.

Delivery Vehicle Secure Card Systems and SeaCom, the largest sub-sea fibre optic provider in Africa have formed a joint venture company to provide the necessary connectivity and bandwidth required by African operators to deliver an above average Quality of Service (QoS) for a full multi-media platform. The first media hub will be built in Nairobi, connected direct to the SeaCom sub-sea fibre for direct connectivity to content providers across the world. Four (4) further media hubs will be built across Africa, once the Nairobi concept has been proved.
