Feedback Meaning -
 Feedback is a great tool to help your team improve
their productivity and get better at their job.
However if not given appropriately it can have a
negative impact on the employees morale &
confidence.
Tips on How to Give Effective Feedback
 Choose your words & phrases carefully
 Start with positive feedback first
 Be factual and objective
 Talk about the impact of the individuals
job/behaviour on team performance and
business/profits/organisation.
 Don’t give feedback on more than two areas of
concern at once.
Tips on How to Give Effective Feedback
 Feedback should be timely – If it is given after a long
time of the actual event or behaviour displayed it will
not have any meaning.
 Feedback should be given on regular intervals on
employee performance and not the Annual
Appraisal.
