- Mu eesmärgiks on Teile põgusalt tutvustada uut paketti nimega Enterprise Cloud Suite, mis toetab Microsofti uut strateegiat – cloud first, mobile first. Hetkel on see ühe pakina kättesaadav vaid Enterprise klientidele (250+ kasutajat), kuid alati jääb lootus, et Microsoft tutvustab seda ühel päeval ka Open kanalile! Uusi uudiseid litsentseerimises on oodata augustis.
- Ei pea kordama, et mobiilsuse vajadus on praegu põhiline jõud, mis IT-d ja maailma muudab. See puudutab nii eraelu kui liigub ka järjest jõulisemalt tööellu. Kontoritöö tegemise mõiste on muutunud ja kontor ei tähenda enam ühte kindlat kohta kusagil büroohoones. Alla 25% kontoritöötajatest väidavad, et nende parimad mõtted sünnivad eranditult kontoriseinte vahel. Mobiilsed seadmed on laialt levinud ka tööelus ning rakendused peavad töötama sujuvalt ka neis. Kunagi muutis meie tööl olev tehnoloogia meie eraelu. Nüüd on vastupidi. Lisaks märkis ühes uuringus üle kolmandiku inimestest, et on kasutanud sotsiaalmeediat oma töö eesmärgil.
- Kuid sellel teel suurema mobiilsuse poole on palju takistusi. Turvariskid – kuidas kontrollida kasutajate ligipääsu ettevõtte andmetele ja rakendustele? Erinevad tükid täislahendusest on head, kuid koos töötavad need paremini kui üksikult võttes! Office365 koos EMS-ga annab võimaluse O365 rakendusi keskselt hallata üle kõikide erinevate seadmete ning laiendada AD kontrolli ka muudele pilverakendustele. EMS koos Windowsiga annab võimaluse hallata kõiki windows seadmeid ja rakendusi neis. O365 koos Windowsiga toob suurima kasutusmugavuse ja ka turvalisuse.
- Visiooniks oli tuua turule lahendus, mis vastab kõigile modernse töökoha nõudmistele. Lahendus, mis kaitseb su andmeid, haldab järjest suurenevat seadmete hulke, ühendab erinevad keskkonnad ning sedmed kasutajale tuttavaks töökohaks. Lahenduseks on Office 365 pluss Enterprise Mobility Suite pluss Windows Enterprise.
- Varasemalt on Microsofti rendilepingute põhitoodeteks olnud Office, Core CAL ja Win Upgrade. Aeg nõuab, et kogu see pakett liiguks seadmepõhisuselt kasutajapõhisuse poole. Tänu EMS ja windws per User saabumisele ongi see pakk koos.
- Vaatame lähemalt, mida siis Enterprise Cloud Suite sisaldab ning mis on muutunud võrreldes varasema desktop platvormiga, mis praegusel kujul on kasutaja ja seadmepõhise litsentseerimise hübriid. ECS on puhtalt kasutajakeskne lähenemine. Exchange, Lync, SP online. Yammerit varem ei olnud. Serveri poole pealtSCCM ja Win CAL on samuti olemas. Intune ja AD Premium on EMS paketis. - Win SA per user asetab kasutaja oma seadmete keskmesse ning annab võimaluse parimat op süsteemi kasutada igal oma seadmel. Ainult kasutaja primaarne PC peab olema Win Pro litsentsiga (nt OEM) Versiooniks on Win Enterprise Ei ole vahet, kas on kohalik install, VDI või Windows-to-go Lihtsam on lugeda kasutajaid ja nende primaarseid seadmeid kui kõiki ülejäänuid.

- Võttes asja kokku: ECS pakub parimat väärtust klientidele, kel on juba Enterprise agreement ning soovivad liikuda Office 365 poole. Tasub tutvuda, mida on pakkuda Enterprise Mobility Suite ja Windows SA per user poolt ning lõpuks otsustada ECS kasuks. Nii saab need kolm komponenti soodsamalt.
- Järgmiseks: Teadke või uurige välja, kuidas toimub Teil MS litsentseerimine praegusel hetkel. Analüüsige ka vajadusi, mis võivad teil tekkida tulevikus ning võrrelge seda praeguse pildiga. - Key Points: Today: As part of the Enterprise Desktop Platform, Windows SA is licensed per device, and each one of these devices requires Windows Pro or another underlying qualified OS. With this license, you only get local install rights of Enterprise Edition on a single device, VDI rights from a single device, and MDOP must be purchased for each device. Tomorrow: Starting Dec 1. we will license Windows in a new way, Per User, to align with the Enterprise Cloud Suite. This license is available as an Add-on or a full USL and is licensed by User with a primary device running Windows Pro or other underlying qualified OS. With the Per User license you can: Install Enterprise edition on any Pro device or less than or equal to 10.1” Windows tablet Access Windows Enterprise across all the user’s devices with VDI and/or Windows To Go Attach a single license of MDOP that will extend across all the user’s devices at no additional cost This enables true per user licensing in line with Office 365 and EMS, eliminating the need for device counting Additional Notes: *For customers who do not have users with primary devices running Windows Pro (or a qualified OS), there is VDA Per User available. VDA Per User does not require the primary device to have a qualified OS.
- Key Points: Windows SA Per User is for primary users with primary devices that are licensed for Windows Pro. Windows VDA Per User does not have any device requirements and can be assigned to any individual. For customers who do not have users with primary devices running Windows Pro (or a qualified OS), the VDA Per User option is available. VDA Per User does not require the primary device to have a qualified OS. The Windows SA Per User Add-On can be used for both Windows SA and Windows VDA. There is also a full SA Per User USL and VDA Per User USL. The VDA Per User USL does not require the primary user to have a primary device.
