and accurate information to support business

The raw data needed to make good decisions is
often stored in multiple databases and in different
formats, so IT must build a “data warehouse”
Business Analysts "slice and dice" the raw data in a
meaningful way, then share their analyses with
others using reports, charts and dashboards
