In 2011, an event took place in Leeds: the first Get into Gaming. I gave this lighthearted presentation about how Zzap! 64 continued to lie to me, but I still loved it and the C64 more than a human should ever love a machine.
10. Multi-load not denting … First few levels hint at
one iota what’s to come
C64’s display … Has me coming back time
admirable representation and time again
Moves so quickly
11. 15 minutes between levels First few levels
Sprites blend into ridiculously easy
background, miss pickups After four or five, stupidly
Moves so quickly (but difficult
C64 can’t keep up with
action so it jerks)
12. Made my own lyrics to
soundtrack I enjoyed
it so much
26. Vendetta o/
C64-only!
Like The
Last Ninja!
Driving
AND
adventure!
HOLY
SHIT!
27. Vendetta /o
Limited memory =
small levels, big
load times
C64-only!
BUT NOT
Like The
Last Ninja!
And BOTH Driving
parts
were AND
rubbish! adventure!
HOLY
SHIT!
No, just shit
