1) Income earned on Community Room is considered “program income” by Ecology:
• Department of Ecology has agreed that income would remain with the City
Sewer Fund.
• State Auditors Office confirmed Department of Ecology opinion.
2) General Fund Contribution:
• Estimated in sales tax $600,000 to $700,000 might be earned on project.
• Dedicate funds to community room.
• Eliminates funding for other additions to Park.
3) Rate impact: Every $1 Million in cost equals approximately $1 in monthly rate.
